Ugh I apologize for using no-no in normal adult conversation. I spend too much time with small children.
1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby?
22w, coconut
2. How are you feeling?
Okay today. I’ve been nauseous mid-morning lately but today is better.
3. Any appointments this week?
Yeah, Friday. Just a normal one, nothing exciting. Going to ask her about my Zoloft dosage because my psychiatrist wants me to go back up to 100mg.
4. Rants/raves/questions?
Not really.
5. GTKY: which pregnancy no-no are you most looking forward to after delivery?
Sushi. I know it’s safe from reputable sources during pregnancy but lately my anxiety has been worse anyway and I don’t want to fuel the fire. Planning to order my wonderful postpartum sushi feast from my favorite place from back when we lived on beacon hill. I did the same thing after I had the girls.
Also really looking toward to being able to take my normal anxiety meds again.
Really good! My belly just popped so I’m starting to feel the slight discomfort of bending over and finding certain things at the gym more difficult. But overall, can’t complain.
3. Any appointments this week?
Nope.
4. Rants/raves/questions?
Not this week.
5. GTKY: which pregnancy no-no are you most looking forward to after delivery?
Margaritas... is it acceptable to put a new blender on my registry? Lol
@DunkinDecaf I'm with you on the anxiety meds. I've been doing really well so far, haven't had to take anything since finding out about the pregnancy. But it always gets worse as 3rd trimester approaches, that's how I felt with DS anyways. Hang in there, hope your appt goes well!
I've been on 40mg of celexa this whole time (which is toward the higher end of recommended dosage). My MFM dr told me that the biggest risk period was weeks 4-10 and that being on it at birth could cause some minor withdrawal effects to the baby. He said they may want to monitor an extra 24 hours for the baby. He wasn't concerned at all.
Pretty good! I had RLP last week and this week I am feeling sooo much better.
3. Any appointments this week?
Had one yesterday, Everything is good, go back July 16th for glucose and growth scan
4. Rants/raves/questions?
This is superficial but I don't want ot gain much more weight and I know I am going to. Starting off smaller I know I need it but it's hard mentally to know I will gain another most likely 15lbs.

@nasalot188@sammierose464 yeah I’m on 50mg of Zoloft now, down from 200 when I got my bfp. I used to take Ativan for acute anxiety though and I’m definitely missing that occasionally. I’ll see what my OB thinks Friday, but I’m definitely considering going back up to 100mg. My psychiatrist is worried that if I’m not properly medicated during pregnancy I’m more likely to be set up for a more extreme case of PPD/A. Also obviously it’s not good for the little one to live in a person who’s having anxiety and depression issues. I don’t want him to have withdrawal issues though. So, mom guilt either way.
@Laumb11 I feel the same way about the weight gain... between finding out and my 20 week appointment I gained about 5 lbs. Then from week 20 to 24 I gained another 5 which total is still within a good range... but, I definitely don’t want to gain 5 every month from here on out or that will be about another 20. I started at 105 (I’m 5’1) so it just feels like ALOT. I feel really dumb for thinking like that, I know I’m supposed to gain weight... but it doesn’t make it easier.
1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby?
24 weeks
2. How are you feeling?
The pain in my groin subsided finally. But the pain in my pelvis has continued to get worse. Now it hurts even while sitting. I can't catch my breath either. The only time I'm comfortable/not in pain is when I'm lying down.
3. Any appointments this week?
No, but I might be calling soon. They'll likely send me to L&D. At this point I almost wish they'd put me on bed rest, but I know I can't actually afford that.
4. Rants/raves/questions?
Is it October yet? (I think this is my question every week now. Lol.)
5. GTKY: which pregnancy no-no are you most looking forward to after delivery?
Sleeping on my stomach.
@DunkinDecaf +1 on anxiety meds postpartum. I was on a super high dose of PRN Xanax and Zoloft that I was told to stop both when I got pregnant. It's been super hard to manage my panic attacks this whole pregnancy. Confession- I've had to take a 1/2 of my xanax dose twice because my panic attacks caused me to completely go crazy on two separate occasions. Most of my panic revolves around death/dying/trauma so I've learned I really need to monitor how much social media I use but it will be nice to take medications again without constant fear that I'm harming babe. @Laumb11 I lost a ton of weight prior to the BFP so every pound that creeps on really plays mind tricks on me. However, every pregnancy before this didn't let me lose weight and nurse effectively so I know I'm stuck with this baby weight for at least another year after delivery.
Good, some swelling this week which is abnormal for me. I've never swelled before with the other two babes but everything has been so different this time around I feel like a newbie most symptoms/days.
3. Any appointments this week?
Nope! Glucose screen on 7/2 and then I see my OB every 2 weeks! That seems crazy to me.

Lurking from Thursday’s ticker change, but wanted to add in re the weight talk...
@lolo_0924@Laumb11 if you started out in the “normal” weight range for your height, then on avg after first tri, you will gain like 4 pounds a month for a total of 25-35 pounds. That being said, try not to focus on the number itself, because the weight gain is a good thing for you and for baby.
@lolo_0924 I started at 112 at 5'5 and normal BMI I was more muscular this pregnancy than last so also sad to see a lot of it going away just b/c I am not doing the amount I was before. @pumpkinpancake Yes I know, I have been on avg 1lb a week. Last pregnancy I gained 40lbs (started at 108) I would like to keep it to 35 this one!
