Nurse intake tomorrow. According to my friend who goes to the same place they'll just confirm my pregnancy via pee stick and blood work which makes me LOL because of my long history/RE stuff. I don't see my OB for another three weeks, I'm going to shoot her a message and see if I can see someone else in the practice sooner. I should have taken the RE up on his 9 week ultrasound.
Yes! Tomorrow, pregnancy confirmation plus ultrasound. I'm 8w2d today, hoping to see a little gummy bear with a strong heartbeat. Ultrasounds make me anxious, so it can't come fast enough.
I'm also excited because my appointment is with the doctor who delivered DD and saved my life. The experience made me feel very close to her and I'm relieved to be starting this pregnancy with an appointment with her. After this I will probably rotate thru the ob team.
NIPT draw tomorrow. So not really a real appointment since I won't see baby or find anything out for another 1.5-2 weeks. But still anxious since I'm getting closer to the answers I've been waiting for.

NT scan for me tomorrow. My mom is accompanying me since DH can’t. She’s suggesting all these post-appointment activities like going out to lunch, and my brain can’t extend that far into the future! I need to see a happy, lively baby with an NT measurement in normal range before I think about lunch and shopping. And then a selfish side of me wants the appointment to go well, because lunch and shopping DD-free with my mom sounds sooo fun. (DD is 15 months old and adorable but such a handful rn.) So for many, many reasons, a few selfish, I hope tomorrow’s appointment goes well!
@dubcompanion I know that feeling of not being able to let yourself think ahead so well! It's something other people really can't connect with so it makes it hard to explain why you're not really into the idea of making definite plans. All of the FX that you see a happy healthy baby in there tomorrow with great measurements. A day of DD free shopping does sound amazing. Toddlers are such a handful, so it's totally ok to want some toddler free downtime!

@BitterBetty12 Thanks! Yeah, the inability to plan ahead makes me so disorganized, which isn’t like me as I’m usually a planner. Luckily, my mom is understanding. FX for your NIPT results and that the wait time goes by fast!
This morning I had my first appointment at the OBGYN’s after graduating from the RE. It went well, the baby still has a strong heartbeat! After that it was mainly a lot of paperwork. We’ll go back in about two weeks for the NT scan.
Only downside is that they had me do the 1 hour glucose test and I felt really gross afterwards...having a high protein lunch now in the hopes that it will help! This could be a long afternoon at work if not.
So so nervous this week for appts. Labs started today, Weds. US on Friday AM. PGAL brain will not let me relax, I'm on high alert this week. Send lots of good juju and distractions
my first appt is Wed. I'm super nervous because it was at my first appt that I **TW** found out that I lost my last baby **TW**. I'm not sure if I should accept a dating ultrasound if offered or not..
@mandamay1414 - I completely relate to this. I'm sorry you know that pain too. I did mine even though I was having so much anxiety because I just needed to know. Even at my second I was so nervous but I felt so much better leaving with answers and some relief. I felt like I could smile for the first time since Nov.
You should absolutely only do what you feel comfortable with though. I completely 100% understand the stress and anxiety of these appointments. It's so sad that loss can do that to us.
Today! Got to see a healthy 9+2 baby with a strong heartbeat which put my PGAL brain to calm for a bit. Next appointment is not until the end of July so that's a long ways away BUT for now, everything is good!

First U/S on Wednesday! I moved it up it was originally scheduled for 6/27 but my PGAL brain is going CRAZY and I had a sudden loss of symptoms, which is freaking me out. Has anyone experienced that? Doctors don't seem too worried - hormones tend to fluctuate - but with my history they're allowing me to move my appointment up a week to put my mind at ease. Hoping to see a healthy lil bean in there and get a better idea of exact due date! Fingers crossed for everyone!
@kianarain My symptoms lessened last week, at 11 weeks, which is pretty typical as the placenta takes over. Best of luck on Wed and hope you see a healthy little bean! Keep us posted.
@dubcompanion thank you! I’m estimating at about 8 weeks right now, so it feels a little early to be feeling so well. **TW** my LMP was my miscarriage in April, so really waiting for that ultrasound to show me exactly how far along. **end TW** As long as the doctors aren’t worried, I’m optimistic! Just definitely anxious to get in and get some reassurance
Intake/medical history appointment tomorrow with my OB. First appointment with my actual OB instead of the RE. I'm excited but I wish I was having another ultrasound at the same time. First ultrasound isn't until July 2. I have a regional meeting on June 29 where my regional manager (my direct boss) and my HR manager will be there. I don't see them in person very often so I am planning on telling them then. I'll only be 10 + 2 but I'd rather have the conversation in person. I just wish I had the 2nd ultrasound before then so I could reassure myself. I just keep telling myself that everything is fine!
@Rachel2066 I relate to this so hard. I just got done with my nurse intake appointment. She was kind enough to get me in sooner to see my OB so I can at least hear the HB again.
Nurse intake went well. They ordered a bunch of labs to baseline things since I had PIH and Pre-E last time. She also gave me the info to get my NIPT ordered and I can do that in two weeks!
I have my first appointment on Thursday. I'll have a blood draw and a dating ultrasound.
I've got a phobia of needles and last Thursday I had an exam for life insurance and 2 people tried to draw blood twice... after 4 pokes and some digging, trying for both arm and hand, NO blood Consequently, that draw was also rescheduled for Thursday. Hoping both the draws are uncomplicated this time around. I am going to drink as much water as I humanly can tomorrow and Thursday morning! Any other tips are much appreciated- I'd never had someone miss a vein even once before last week, now I have extra anxiety about it!

Quick update: NT scan went really well! LO was super active with a HB of 156. NT measurement is 2.3mm and am just waiting on bloodwork results now. Today I’m ecstatic to have reached this milestone!
Saw a healthy gummy bear with a heart rate of 162. The ultrasound tech was a chatty Cathy and I had to be like "do you see a baby or not?!" I find ultrasounds so stressful.
ETA: DH and I were really happy to see all is well, and we liked being able to chat with my OB after the ultrasound. She said she was so glad we decided to have another one.
I had my first appointment today and it went well! I got to see baby and the little heart beat. I've been so apprehensive since this was a surprise pregnancy but the appointment made me happy. Since my periods are so irregular, we went with the date from the ultrasound, which was 10+6 which surprised me too! It was 6 days off from when I thought I got pregnant but I think falls in line with my last period. Who knows!
Second US was today and baby is measuring 4 days ahead at 11+4. Quite the growth spurt since our last US he/she was measuring 3 days behind. We will be on vacation during the 12-13 week window for the NT scan, but I found a private radiology center that can take us right before we leave (next week). I was stressed about skipping the scan altogether, though we did get the cell free DNA blood work drawn today so that would have provided some reassurance. I'm happy to be able to see baby again next week and we should find out the sex while on vacation in the same place we told our families we were expecting DD!
My OB called this morning and my appointment got bumped up to today. No ultrasound but I heard a strong heartbeat at 160 bmp on the doppler. The tech didn’t put in the info from my last ultrasound so they’re going to figure out whether or not my due date will be bumped up a week. Another ultrasound is scheduled in 4 weeks and we should know what we’re having! (A baby of course but I mean the sex).
First appointment went well! Baby measured 8w2d with a heart rate of 170. Due date was marked as 1/29.
I’m feeling relieved- this pregnancy has been so much easier than my last & it had me almost doubtful. Also glad there is just 1 baby in there
They were able to get blood for the life insurance exam and the prenatal visit- but on the one sour note, they told me it looks like my good vein days are over. It definitely took a few pokes and when they finally got a vein it was ‘touchy’ so it wasn’t easy filling all those prenatal lab vials. I guess my veins are tiny, hard to find, and roll. I’m such a baby about draws that I treated myself to a McFlurry as a reward. Cause, you know, I’m an adult.

I have my NT scan in a few hours and then a meeting with a genetic counselor. I'm nervous but less so because we got our NIPT results yesterday as low risk. This will be our second ultrasound, the first was at 9+2 and today is 11+6.
Assuming all goes well we'll find out the sex (results from NIPT) this evening via cupcake!
I had my first appointment and we saw a little baby with a good heartbeat, measuring 1 day ahead. Found out they will induce me probably by 38 weeks, absolutely no later than 39 weeks. She told me letting a diabetic on insulin go past 39 weeks would be malpractice so that’s definitely a hard line. She also wanted me to do the 1-hour glucose test which I refused because I already know I have diabetes.
Had my first OB today AND ultrasound!!!!! Ahhhhhh!!!! Baby is measuring 5 days ahead, and since it's the first appointment, Dr said it was up to me to move the due date or not. I wasn't going to, because whatever, but then I remember how I felt the last few weeks last time, and I wished my due date was earlier. NOW, I have the choice to move it 5 days sooner, so I did I'm due 1/10 now.
Baby wasn't moving around at first, then I said "I wish it would move" and it DID! A lot! Started stretchign and moving and bouncing. So cute! I'm 11 weeks, and we go back in 2 weeks for the trisomy screening ultrasound and labs.
The OB we saw today remembered me from last time, which was really nice and helpful. We really like him!
Had an appointment yesterday. We got to hear baby’s HB, strong at 170...doctor is pretty sure there is only one in there (much to the relief of my husband!). My BP was great too (last pregnancy it was high throughout). Also, I somehow managed to gain no weight, which seems crazy since I’ve been eating a lot!
