WTF to my boobs. 

I’m what you would call “well endowed.”  My first sign that I was in that small percentage of pregnancy tests that don’t show a day or two early and needed to retake was that I went to put on my sports bra and my boobs were spilling out all over the place.  

So yeah.   I also am quite aware that I chronically wear too small a bra size.  I’m used to it; for many years I just couldn’t find or afford ones that were my size.  

But seriously- WTF boobs.  

I realized a bit ago that half my boobs had rolled out the bottom and the underwire was resting on the aureola.  I’m afraid it is time to get measured and buy new bras.  Again.

WTF to being locked in a windowless room for a workshop for eight hours on an 80+ sunny day. Also WTF to the person who sat at my desk for a few min while I was at the workshop and left my stuff not as they found it and also sticky stuff on my desk. I have evil eyes out to everyone around me.

@knottieamusements that's why I've only bought one new bra....I didn't want to spend $$$$ on bras that I would keep outgrowing until October. I do have a stretchy nursing bra that I bought that's good for lounging around the house, and that should fit me no matter how big my boobs get.

@chopchop25 — oooOOOooo— Sticky? that would make me stabby.  It already gets under my skin when someone borrows my chair and doesn’t put it back under the desk.

Re: bras. I’m seriously considering going to a specialty bra shop this time around.  I mean, how much bigger can they really get?   I’m already a freaking J cup.

@knottieamusements DO IT. I got measured ages ago and went from a 34B/C to a 30DD. Magical how much better everything fits. Granted, finding 30 band size is pretty tough unless you are at Nordstrom or a specialty bra store, so I've always stuck to those places recently. Plus Victoria's Secret isn't going to have my current G cup either lol.

@jemmerjams - I’ve measured myself a few times in the past- and the same thing happens- my band size goes down and cup goes up.  Of course- good luck finding my cup size even pre-pregnancy.    

This time, I hesitate to do my own measurements though because I feel sooo big, and I feel like a specialty place might have some insight on how to make the best of my purchase.

@cagncoo12 love thirdlove! Seriously the most comfortable bras I’ve ever worn. Haven’t ordered a nursing bra from them yet, but probably will. I have a friend who swears by them, too.

Wtf I’ve been up since 4:30 am with ridiculous low back pain. It’s been a very dull pain that has been creeping up on me the past few days. For those going through sciatica pain.... is it a dull pain? Or sharp pain? I can’t get comfortable.

@linssears4 sciatica tends to be more through the buttock and down the back of the leg, rather than true back pain.

@halfanewt i'm glad to hear that... I've been snooping on the website trying to decide if I should buy one but I haven't pulled the trigger yet. I think I will this weekend. I'm sick of the underboob problem.

linssears4 mine has been mostly tightness in my lower back. It probably doesn't help that I have a large chest and a big booty. It's uncomfortable to lay on my back because it feels like it needs to be adjusted.

WTF to the pizza place that we order from for a conference I organize at work... last month they were 35 minutes late delivering, and our conference had already been going for 20 minutes by the time they arrived. Fine, I gave them a second chance and used them again this month, and today they not only went to the wrong building first, but then were still a half hour late!! They’ve been delivering us pizza every month for this conference for years, so this isn’t the first time they’ve come here!! How fricking hard is it to deliver pizza to the right place at the right time?!?

@krzyriver haha I know right! Not only was I starving, but I had a room full of 50 people looking at me wondering where the pizza was! I definitely let that delivery person have an earful, and we will not be ordering from them
again next month.

@pumpkinpancake - call the store and talk to the manager.  Regular orders like that can have a big impact on their bottom line.

Wtf five year old in my class who ran over my foot with his bike while I was walking to my car because he was pissed I made him do math. I’m usually a pretty together person, but I’m blaming hormones for sobbing the whole way home. Icing my foot now but I probably should have reported it in case there’s any actual damage.

also, I second the wtf boobs. I started at a 34c and haven’t been measured because I don’t want to know how much I’ve grown and feel bad about squeezing into my old bras. I just don’t want to end up buying new bras two or three times. Until then, sports bras will do.

Wtf mosquito bite! I ALWAYS get a damn bug bite on my ankle that feels like it's there for the rest of the summer and it drives me crazy!! Does anyone have any bug bite remedies??

I can’t handle these F ing anti vax people today. Apparently there is a measles outbreak in MD (MoCo). So this Mom on FB posted an FWI post with news article. One women proceeds to post all these images filled with “facts” about why vaccines are unnecessary. No science, no studies. And the some other lady tries to claim her son got measles from the MMR vaccine and then gave it to her other son who was vaccinated...um???? I just fucking can’t right now.

Wtf to my husband who knew I was going out to dinner with friends, I told him at 8 when he got off work I was still there and he still waited until 9:15 when I told him we were wrapping up to ask if it was too late to order him something. Um. Yeah. I was nice and picked him up Taco Bell on my way home if he would change the bed sheets.

Ooooo anti-vaxxers make me really really stabby. That would make me in a really bad mood!

@mamabearcj I get bad reactions to my mosquito bites and they hurt like crazy! I use topical Benadryl and a cortisone cream. I think switching between the two helps maybe. I have no idea if they are safe while pregnant or not. Thankfully, I haven't had to use em yet. I'll also put hydrogen peroxide on a bite if it's bad enough, and I wonder if it helps in case it's a touch infected?? I dunno, but I'll do about anything to help them not hurt so stinking bad!

@mamabearcj I’ve been using Neosporin w/ pain relief for my mosquito bites and it’s been working like a dream to settle down the itching. Just picked up the kids version of it since it has a few less ingredients in it.

Wtf cat! He came down yesterday morning very early feeling snuggly with DH and I which is pretty rare. Well now it's 3am and I'm awake because he came downstairs to snuggly and decided my head was the best spot to lay. We have the ENTIRE bed since DH isn't in it yet and he has to be on my head/pillow. I am no impressed.. now that he's gone (doesn't stay long ever) the mosquitos near my ears are keeping me up... no winning tonight

DH and I got in a huge fight. The biggest fight we have ever had. I know a lot of it was pregnancy hormones and me stressed but he needs to be more supportive right now and he's not.

He came home after being at the Jay's game all afternoon and cracked a beer and started playing video games. He knows full well we were packing tonight. I already got upset with him the night before because he was so laxed about the purging and not doing much. Tuesday was a right off because I was in the ER for 9 hrs while he sat here playing video games and drinking after work. Couldn't even come pick his pregnant wife up from the ER because he had too many drinks. I told him not to come to the ER because I knew it would be a lot of waiting for nothing. I had also taken a bunch of kitchen stuff out Monday night but got tired so left them on the counter and he could not even think to pack those up while I was in the ER?!? So when I got back I got slightly upset with him and he still didn't do anything tonight so I completely lost it. Like throw his beer out and screaming at the top of my lungs in aa herstierical crying fit. Tried to get him to leave the condo and not come back that night. I needed space. He wouldn't go. 

The worst is he just sits there and says nothing when I'm clearly upset and crying so it makes me pissed and I get angry. Why do guys think it's better to sit quietly than to console or say something soothing?! It drives me nuts. I have told him numerous times that I need more at that time but he freezes like a deer caught in headlights. 

Thanks for the long rant! It's been a stressful week and I was hoping for more support. I just think he doesn't realize it's a big deal and a lot to of work.

@chyvie I’m so sorry to hear this. How long have you guys been together yet? Has he always been this way?

We have been together 11 years in September. We rarely fight. I think this is our third one, but this was bad! 

He's an only child and was spoiled growing up. He doesn't clean cook or do chores well and I need to give him like 3 days notice to complete a task and make it look like I'm not telling him what to do. I have got used to it. I also have lived on my own since 16 so I'm used to doing these things. 

He works hard at work and does make significantly more money than I and provides for me in a lot of ways so it's kind of our agreed upon balance. I do a lot of the household chores and shopping and he does the dishes, walks the dog every morning, does his own laundry, looks after the car and finances.  He also hires a cleaner for times we need it. 
 
He's the type of person who prefers not to have to inconvenience himself. He thinks "pre" packing two-three months before moving is not required. He can sell the condo in the state it's in and we can pack closer to the move.

@chyvie you seriously have nothing to apologize for. It's time for him to man up. Honestly, after baby that game console shouldn't even be on very often imo. That's for after the kids are in bed and the house is clean. I would've flipped out on him for not even being able to pick me up from the ER. he needs to grow the eff up.

I agree with @hellopartyof5. He is coming off pretty selfish right now. The least he could have done Tuesday was ask what he could do to help. And if you made the expectation for last night clear, it's BS he ignored it.

@mamabearcj I react horribly to bug bites (think giant red welt, and then, if I scratch it accidentally, even bigger red/purple welt that lasts for MONTHS. High school summer band was a fun time when I came back with 50 bites on my leg. You know my "friends" weren't mean at all about it...)

This is going to sound super crunchy and hippie, but I have this magnesium/lavender/ACV "everything" spray that I used on my recent bite and it stopped the itch immediately. could be placebo effect, but who cares at that point? Unfortunately the red welt is still there...like 3 weeks later...

@chyvie - I am so sorry you are having to deal with that kind of immaturity on top of everything else.   I hope he comes around soon; it sounds like he isn’t handling being a husband and future father particularly well.

@chyvie im sorry you’re dealing with that on top of everything else you have going on! Agreed with the others that it sounds like he needs an attitude adjustment. He needs to understand that while you’re pregnant and then even more so when you’re a new mom, you’re going to need support, so he is going to need to make some changes. Perhaps he is scared of the idea that he’ll need to change his lifestyle once there’s a kid around too, so he’s reacting poorly as a result? Hopefully things get better between you two soon. Hugs!
