Twat Waffle Tuesday

We haven't done this one yet, but since we missed Monday BF I thought maybe we can do it this week. Anyone in your life being a twat waffle??

Oh yes please I love this. Everyone at my work is being a twat waffle. I am constantly fixing work from people who are above me in pay grade and title and I’m so over it!

One of my coworkers, who is retiring at the end of next month, is being a huge twat waffle. Our Superintendent is new to our office (has been in the district a while) and the last two years he has given us summer hours. Today I asked her if we have to ask for them or if they are automatic and she went on to say he "doesn't like them." We never had them before he moved up to this office, so why would he implement something he doesn't like? She also did this with wearing jeans in the office, kept saying he didn't like them, which wasn't true, and he wears them now all the time. Just be straightforward! Love her to death but glad we won't have to deal with this much longer.

The class mom for DD's preschool class! The end of the year is coming, and we already pooled cash to get the wonderful teachers nice gift cards to a spa. But I guess the class mom is an artistic, crafty, pintrest mom because she also wants us to put together a book of personalized thank you art projects for the teachers. So the "kids" (who are 2-3 years old btw) are supposed to make two 8x11 personalized thank you cards with art and pictures. This week. So, given the artistic abilities and attention span of most toddlers, this will either be scribbles on two blank pieces of paper or, more likely, supposed to be something primarily done by the moms with some cute kid flare like a hand print. I am not artistic or crafty AT ALL, so when we do these things they always look crappy, DD never has fun because I keep trying to direct her art rather than letting her do whatever she wants, its just stressful. Why can't we just stick with the gift cards, or I could bring some homemade cookies or just write an adult thank you note from myself with pen?

My MIL is being a twat waffle... she is very much a tomboy, had two boys herself, and wants nothing to do with girls. She keeps telling DH and I she “won’t know what to do with a girl” and I mentioned having a ‘feeling’ baby is a girl she laughed. Like legitimately laughed and said DH was scared of girls (he’s not.). His grandmother is very similar. Made a comment that “(our last name) boys will only have boys” 
We are team green and hoping for a happy and healthy baby. If only everyone could feel that way.

@lifesabeach85 My day care just did something for teacher appreciation week that you might find helpful. It was a plain piece of paper with a big apple drawn on it. The apple said "I love my teachers because..." The older kids drew in them, but the younger kids' parents either pasted some images or helped write why the kids were thankful for their teachers. It was super easy to do and it turned out really cute. They're displayed on the wall at the day care and they all look great, even the not so artistic ones.
You could do one piece of paper with an apple and one piece of paper with a heart, or something like that? Have your DD scribble a little bit, then write a few words on top of it. Easy peasy (hopefully)!

I’m the twat waffle today. Zofran has been giving me serious constipation and the bm’s I’ve been able to manage every 3 days have not been pleasant. Do you think I’ve tried to remedy this with lots of fluids and fiber and stool softeners? Nope, nope, and nope (food aversions to everything including water + some laziness). So today naturally I gave myself hemorrhoids. I didn’t know what was happening at first and was sobbing hysterically in the bathroom. Luckily DH has had them so he was able to reassure me that I’m not permanently deformed. So annoyed with myself.
