Rants/Raves: Loving the weather weather, but not ready for it to be in the 90s already!

Status (WTO/TWW/Benched/in process of testing or treatment): Day 4 of stims in IVF cycle #1

CD, CD/DPO (if applicable): CD 6

What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment? Vitamins/supplements?): PNV, Vit D, CoQ10, baby aspirin plus Micro Dose Lupron, Follistim & Low Dose HCG

Rants/Raves: I started my first IVF cycle Friday & had my 1st monitoring appt today along with an endo scratch (OUCH!) & repeat SIS (OUCH!). No growth at all on ovaries but it's is clear. My nurse called this afternoon with bw results and she told me to adjust my nightly dose of HCG to 20 units. Uh, I've *been* taking 20 units so WTH? She was floundering in the phone with me then said, "Oh I see a note here in the corner that says just that so, never mind! Don't change anything!" Umm, what? Then she said, "The dr wants to be sure that you're taking the Follistim 2x/day". Yes. Yes I am taking it twice a day and sadly I'm not responding to it at all. Ugh. 

Questions for the group: Anyone else who's done IVF a slow grower?

GTKY:  What are you thankful for this week? DH! He's literally been by my side for every shot. My rock. He's nervous about the PIO shots he's going to help me with!

@mich_elle Yay for IVF cycle starting!! Sorry things aren't going as fast as you want. I know at the beginning, some people are a little slower off the bat. If I was just on Follistim, I probably would have been the same way, but my protocol had Menopur and my body loved it a little too much! If things aren't progressing better at the next scan, I'd def talk to the doctor about adjusting your meds. Which I'm sure they would anyways. Either way, you want quality over quantity. Hang in there! Nothing else, they may have you take meds a little longer than 10 days.

Rants/Raves: Saw Bon Jovi Thursday and he came out four rows from is!!! Holy crap I almost fainted lol!!!

GTKY:  What are you thankful for this week? My husband:) he's working 2 jobs so we can go on another vacation next year!!!

Jamacia was amazing!!! We had such a great time. I have a new foster now he's so cute and loves all my dogs. I'll attach some photos!!!

Good luck at everyone starting ivf I've been missing in action the last 3 weeks so I will try reading everyone's posts and play catch up.

@kristimh80 :::gives you a giant creepy internet hug::: Thank you...for everything. You always say the right thing to calm me down and reassure me! My next scan is tomorrow so I'll be sure to ask about adding/adjusting my protocol. I'm excited for your to see what you learn from your ERA!

BFN this morning.  Yesterday I had this sharp stabbing pain in lower abdomen.  Last time I had that I was KU.  So I’m hoping I just tested too early but it’s more than likely just my crazy brain with wishful thinking

@Labluver2 - love all your pix!  I hear ya about treatments.  You couldn't pay me to do that stuff. 

Speaking of I think I'm finally starting to recover from all that happened.  I've been seeing a therapist for a month now which has really helped because for 9 days now my nausea and sickness in the mornings are gone.  That sucked so bad.  Last night when I was sleeping I didn't have any indigestion or heartburn.  And I was waking up 4 times a night but last night I only woke up 1 time.  My naturopath has helped me out thru all this too.  My blood sugars are still a bit off - low - I'll eat more than normal but she said it will level out and gave me some blood sugar stabilizer to take.   Clomid just really kicked my anxiety in high gear - it was so bad.  I'm still taking ativan but hoping to ween soon.  I can't wait to have my full health restored and get back to doing everything like I was.  I've had to put yoga on the back burner but I went last night and plan to go again tonight.  Trying my best to not overdo it since that's what my therapist told me.  She realized I am a perfectionist which makes it hard to recover from the anxiety.

I'm just so looking forward to enjoying life again.  My bday is at the end of this month and I'll be 38.  We are going to Palm Springs and Disney World in August. 

Today is our puppy's first birthday - I can't believe how fast it's gone.

Rants/Raves: I feel bad that I haven't been posting much lately - completely overwhelmed about house hunting with pressure to be out of our rental and I just finished unpacking mostly and now have to pack again, in the middle of FET stuff! Also, I think I'm getting a little nervous about BCP and Estrace as I always get major nausea even with low dose BCP. All that mixed with nervous excitement. I'm just a big ol pile of anxiety!

Questions for the group: nope

GTKY:  What are you thankful for this week? Thankful that we got pre-approved for a mortgage and found a new bank here in town. A couple of things checked off the list! Meeting with a realtor tonight and seeing at least one house.

@mich_elle just catching up and YES, I too was a slow grower. So much so that I've been worried they were going to cancel a couple of my cycles, but the nurses assured me that some people are just slow, so I hope this eases your worry a bit. Sure enough, I got some follicles later. Not a lot, but honestly, for age 43 I was thankful for the handful I got. They always said to me, remember it just takes one good quality one, so that's why the diet and environmental toxins were such a game changer for me on this 5th IVF versus the first four where I just ate normally and normal makeup, shampoo, etc. I am hoping for you!!! BTW, I'm nervous for the PIO shots too, ugh.

Hey girls! Sadly once again our FET is delayed... it’s wasn’t an easy decision to make and am super emotional about it but today is a lot better than yesterday and the day before. Sucks, but nothing to do now but move forward.

Status - waiting for AF to show up then  benched this next cycle.

rants - I posted This over in the May FET thread 

 Sadly we had to put our FET on hold for a bit for many reasons. I would like to thank all of you for your love and support. This was one of the hardest decision I’ve ever had to make and was NOT taken lightly. I am sad and feeling a little bit defeated at the moment but I believe that there is some greater plan for my tiny lil embryo and he’ll be coming home when he is meant to. 
Know I appreciate Each and every one of you, and will be here to support and cheer you all on... infertility gets a big F U this week. Going to regroup, talk to the Dr and get a plan moving forward. Again mad love for this group and all my bump IF sisters out there! You all amaze me with your strengths and courage on a daily basis and NO MATTER what stands in your way You FIGHT... that is what makes you rise above it all! 

Thankful for all the support in this community.. it’s hard enough having to explain this crap to people and it’s so nice to come to place where people understand and don’t judge.

Well BFN this morning not 100% sure if I’m 13 or 14 DPO but will probably stop progesterone tonight and wait for AF to start the last round of Treatment.  We may go back to trying naturally but not sure yet

Thanks guys! I’m super sad this week knowing I will have to take this next cycle off but I can try naturally though our chances are slim with our MFI. My next RE app isn’t till 6/6 which seems like a long time away but in reality it’ll be about a week or so before that cycle starts so it’s ok

Hi all, I'm WTO (should have happened by now) and DH is super busy with work and tired so I'm worried we won't catch it.  Sounds like this week we're all in a bit of a funk! Here's to next week/cycle/update...
