A day late but I don't mind. Share how your SO has been awesome lately!

I requested that my husband pick up a very specific brand and type of pretzels when he went to the store (not even a pregnant-lady-needs-this-now demand - just a request since he was already going). The store he was going to didn't have them, so he went out of his way to go to a different store on the other side of town (that he had already been to today) that he knew would have them but where they are significantly more expensive (I love him but he's cheap).
I think he's trying to keep me calm/happy because I had an ugly-crying pregnancy-anxiety freak out earlier this afternoon.
@hkom Sorry you had a freak out, but happy you got your pretzels
This morning DH didn’t mind me changing our breakfast date from New Restaurant to Diner With French Toast (to obviously satisfy my sweet tooth). Then afterward he drove us to a deli to buy sodas, then he helped me make tonight’s dinner plan
A wall of pure sugar:
I just realized how much my life revolves around food. Mmm.

My husband is currently bathing our child (usually my job in the division of household labor) without me even asking, so that I can lay here and be miserable in peace.
I guess he’s awesome just for putting up with me. I’ve been really impatient and stubborn this week. He’s been gently letting me know, so I can try to adjust my attitude.
We were out shopping most of the day yesterday, and he carried my purse for a long time. He doesn’t usually do that, so it was nice. Especially because I’m thirsty all the time and my bag is so much heavier with a water bottle in it.
DH took the dog camping this weekend (I opted out because I figured food would be too much of a pain, not to mention the tired), so Friday afternoon before he left, he cut a few roses from our rose bush, threw them in a vase, and left me a sweet note from the two of them. Then because he had a flight out for a business trip Sunday afternoon, he surprised me by coming home early (Saturday night) to spend a little time with me and go to Sunday brunch with my parents and me before he left for his trip.

The other night he threw on swim trunks and took a bubble bath with our toddler. She's not a big fan of the water getting near her face or on her head, but with her daddy there she actually leaned her head all the way back so she could sort of float (a first!), and she let him wash her hair without fussing.
He's also been pleasantly indulgent on the topic of my upcoming A16 meetup (which I'm totally dragging him to). I love getting that "Whatever you say, dear" clearance
My husband fixed my car so it doesn't overheat anymore (something that the mechanic, for some reason, was unable to do!) and he's been so nice about getting me literally any food or drink I crave, even if it's almost midnight and I want orange juice for some dumb reason. It's been tough lately because I've been so cranky and we're both so tired since our DD is teething, and we've each been working a million hours a week, but he really is awesome.
While I was visiting my Mom Friday-Sunday, he finished building the fence, shampooed the upstairs carpets and made fried chicken for me when I got home (although the chicken made me gag).

But it requires a (short) flight to London, so I'm hoping my nausea doesn't get the best of me mid-flight....or mid-play.
