Found out yesterday at our AS that baby bean is...a boy!!! I was initially disappointed we weren't having a girl, but those feeling are fading fast. Now I can't wait to meet our son - such a surreal thought! We're going to have a son!!
Me: 33, DH: 41 Started IF Feb. 2014 PCOS & MFI (low sperm count and motility) 3 Femara cycles w/natural intercourse over summer 2014, BFN 1 Clomid cycle w/natural intercourse Nov. 2014, BFN IUI March 2015, BFN IUI June 2015, BFN IUI Oct. 2015, BFN IVF Oct. 2016, fresh transfer, 2 day-3 embryos, BFN; nothing to freeze IVF Nov. 2017, fresh transfer, 2 day-5 blasts, BFP; ectopic; 1 blast frozen FET March 2018, 1 day-5 blast, BFP!
We did genetic testing because I wanted peace of mind and found out we are having a girl!! Excited but also terrified of a the sassy, smaller version of me!
I found out today that our 5th baby is a BOY! Looks like our daughter will be the only girl. I'm sad that she won't have a sister but she adores her brothers so it's ok.
We just found out yesterday we are having a baby girl!
It was a huge surprise since 80% of family (including me) thought it was a boy! DH said he had a feeling for a while that it would be a girl but was too scared to admit it (he is worried about having to chase boys away, lol).
And the funny thing is we might already have a name, although we didn't talk about it until yesterday. We are currently thinking Elizabeth Mary or Elizabeth Maria (I am Ukrainian, and his family came from Ukraine about a hundred years ago, so "Mary" is the English translation of "Maria")
I feel like I should post here even though I haven't paid attention to this thread in ages We're having a boy!!! It was... *ahem*... very definitive. The ultrasound tech at our AS today felt the need to give us like 3 or 4 printouts of baby's junk which is weird but also hilarious ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@hkom I was going through the printouts of US pics from our anatomy scan and I got to one picture and was trying to figure out what part of his face I was looking at and after a second I realized it was most definitely not his face I did NOT post that one on the fridge, lol!
Found out we are having a boy!! I’m excited but a bit sad that we won’t be using the girl name that I love so much (this may be are only one). I know my mom is grateful either way, but she was looking forward to using the dresses she saved from when I was a baby :-/
Very excited to have a boy ( not that it matters all that much)... but our US tech was so odd and sorta unsure and noncommittal at first about telling us there were “boy parts”. She was not super talkative and I was wondering if she was trying to rush through things, maybe? We have to go back for more heart and facial views. Our DD (3) predicted a boy but in early pregnancy I thought girl. Mother’s intuition indeed.
I finally get to say...it's a girl!! I’ve had a feeling all along it was a girl but who knows if that what I was hoping for a little bit or if I really had “intuition.” I also thought DD was a girl. Very excited for sisters so close in age. We are hoping they are close of course, and do not fight quite as much as me and my sisters did.
We just had our anatomy scan on Monday and we're having a BOY! I swear I just had a feeling it was going to be a girl, but I'm just as excited all the same
We accidentally on purpose found out we are having a daughter! I saw while the tech was measuring her legs Then she confirmed when we asked. We were going to find out tonight anyway, so we just found out a few hours early
Super excited, but don't want to admit that SO was right (he called girl from the beginning). I was so sure it was a boy! Slight disappointment because I had gotten used to the idea of being a boy mom and already was very attached to a boy name we picked out, but that's quickly fading. So much for my gut feeling! Now back to the drawing board for names!
@PensiveCrayon thanks!!! We are thrilled! SO is so great with little girls and he's got lots of experience with them since most friends and family have girls. I can't wait to see him with his very own little girl.
@scaredunprepared that was me with my DD. I was so sure she was a boy but thank God we got her! She is a bright, funny, wild little thing and I wouldn’t changed a thing about her!! Your little one will bring you more joy than you knew was possible!!
@LLynde5 we couldn't be happier! I was just surprised. I certainly wouldn't want it any other way. I can't wait for my niece to have a little girl cousin! I hope they are the best of friends.
Good evening everyone! Found out over the weekend I'm having a boy!!! First boy in the family!!! Everyone is so excited. Now time to start the registry
