I have my first appointment for an US on Tuesday and am super excited! We are supposed to decide what kind of genetic testing we want at that point and I don't know much about it. How have you handled this in the past if you've been through it?

My entire extended family on my mom's side rents a beach house for a week every summer. I always loved this week growing up and look forward to bringing my own kid next year.

2x2 LEGO brick
Symptoms?
I've actually been feeling pretty ok this week. Maybe it’s just because last week was so horrible. Tender nipples, occasional dizziness, grumpy, starving but not hungry, very weird dreams, lower backache

I am very close with my cousins. We are a big family and have lots of parties/traditions. I am hoping my baby will be as close to their kids as we were growing up!

GTKY: What is one (or more) of your favorite childhood traditions that you will carry on with your own child/children? If you can't think of any, do you have any ideas for new ones? I didn't have any 'traditions' growing up. But my family cared more about us going places and exploring the world than they did giving us items and stuff. I do the same thing with my kids. Birthdays are spent going places like The San Diego Zoo, Sea World, Disneyland, camping, going to the beach, road trips...
My husband is Native American and I have done so much research on his tribe and have began telling my kids stories of their ancestors. I hope my kids remember all the stories and tell their kids one day.

a Raspberry
Symptoms?
I have had really bad morning sickness this week.

I am working on a masters degree and finished my first set of classes today! I get this whole week off before I have to start my next class. It has been very difficult to work full time, parent two children, and battle morning sickness all while taking three classes. I'm so glad I'm only taking one at a time from now on.

Since all three of our kids will have a December birthday we will start doing birthday trips.

Sore breasts, nausea, achey, dizzy. Crying over EVERYTHING.

My anxiety is through the roof over everything. I have to wait until my OB appointment to get any relief. I’m so frustrated.

I’m so looking forward to Disney trips! We’ve already done it with both DSs but I can’t wait to do it with all 3!
@kadeephd wow I didn't realize you had to think about genetic testing so early! Did they give you options to think about?

How big is baby?
The size of a blueberry, about half an inch!
Symptoms?
ugh I haven't really had many symptoms to begin with. I was dealing with pretty bad fatigue but that pretty much vanished a few days ago and I've been feeling very un-pregnant. I did get a tiny wave of nausea last night and a headache. My boobs have also filled in a little and are kind of uncomfortable because I'm used to a pretty small cup size.

I'm very excited to be in week 7 because I am finally getting an U/S next week at my first OB visit!
**TW early loss** the month before this pregnancy we had an early loss and it's really made me anxious and nervous this time around. I think the appointment will really put my mind at ease and allow me to get excited. I just haven't been able to get out of my head about it even though I've already passed my loss milestone and the odds of it happening again is low. **TW end**

I'm actually so excited to have a baby born around the holidays because it's always been my favorite time of year and I'm pretty wild about Christmas haha So the thing I think I'm looking forward to the most is sharing my favorite Christmas movies and decorating the house with them.
