Hello all! We are expecting boy # 3 and struggling to find a name.
Older brothers are Kevin James (Jr) and Dominic Stephen. Middle names are after their grandfathers and 2 great grandfathers. Last name is Italian, 3 syllables and starts with a hard 'C' sound.
I tend to like more traditional names. My front runner at this point is probably Gabriel (possibly with middle name John to honor my late grandfather). DH thinks the name is OK, but isn't sold. He is concerned that his name will forever be mistaken for Gabrielle or that it sounds too feminine. He doesn't typically like names ending in an 'a' sound (I.e. Micah, Luca) for this reason. I also like Isaac, but DH is meh on this too.
This is now the 3rd time DH has pushed for the names Vito or Ignatius, both of which are a little too out there for me and also don't really go with our sib set. He's mentioned Arthur (family name) as a middle or first name. I don't love it.
Names we both like but can't use:
Samuel
Lucas
James
Any thoughts or other suggestions for names we can both get on board with?? We would really appreciate any feedback!
