My name is Alexis Smith and I am a researcher from the Child Development Labs at Boston University. I just wanted to let members of the Bump in Boston know about some of the exciting research we are doing at the Boston University Developing Minds Lab!
Visits to the BU Child Development Labs start with free parking in the garage across the street, where a research assistant will meet you and walk with you to the lab. The parking is good for all day and allows you to explore the Kenmore/Fenway area, completely free of charge!
Studies in the labs consist of interactive games, stories, shows, and projects, depending on the lab and the child’s age. Kids will then get to pick out a prize to take home with them as a thank you for participating. You can also learn more about our lab here: https://www.bu.edu/cdl/developing-minds-lab/
If this sounds like something you and your child would like to participate in, we would love to have you come in. You can reach us via email, or call us at (617) 358-1830. You can also fill out our parent webform here: https://www.bu.edu/cdl/developing-minds-lab/for-parents/developing-minds-labfor-parentsparticipant-sign-up/
Thank you for your time!
Sincerely,
Alexis Smith
