POI Shortage?

Hi all!  I recently discovered POI is on back order in my area (Houston).  CVS is unable to get the medication until early May.  I am on one 200mg capsule daily and a 1.5ml injection of POI daily.  They adjusted my protocol to one 200mg capsule 3xs a day, but I don't like changing what's been working.  My RE said this is common as of late.  Anyone else having this issue?  Was your protocol changed?

    We've been getting the PIO via mail order from Glen Rock Pharmacy in NJ.  They ship for overnight delivery.

    There has been a shortage for a while.  I was also able to get it from Glen Rock Pharmacy who sells it with Olive Oil instead of Sesame.  It's the sesame oil that is in shortage.

    2016 - dx with super low ovarian reserve; failed cycle with clomid, failed IUI, 
    2017 - egg retrieval #1 - 3 eggs, 0 embryos appropriate for transfer; ER #2 2 eggs, 0 embryos on day 3; ER #3 1 egg 0 embryos
    moved to donor egg in summer 2017; 35 eggs retrieved; 19 fertilized; 9 total embryos
    Fresh transfer Dec 2017= BFP!  baby boy born 8/22/18

    May 2019 - surprise natural pregnancy ended in MC
    Nov 2019 FET; MC at 9 weeks
    May 2020 FET; BFN
    July 2020 FET; CP treated with methotrexate

    I get it through Mandells’s pharmacy in NJ. I’m on the progesterone in sesame oil. They ship to me in NC overnight

    Also check local compounding pharmacies. I'm in NY and some local pharmacies can make it for you directly (typically in a different oil but same active ingredient).
