3rd Trimester

28 week finding

Hi mamas, we went in for our 28 week ultrasound and left with an "incidental" finding of an extra little pinky toe on our baby girls left foot. Up to this point, everything has been normal and on track- no soft markers for a chromosomal disorder and she is growing perfectly, heart looks great, etc. We also did the NIPT (natera panorama) testing and got low risk (<1/10,000) for everything. The doctor says he is not worried and thinks this is a random isolated thing that we can easily take care of once she is born. I was caught off guard though, as neither my husband nor I have had this run in our families- extra toes, fingers, etc. Does anyone have experience with this in an otherwise healthy baby? Any input or advice? I'm very thankful and know that the finding could have been a lot worse, but just looking for some support and confirmation from other mamas. Thanks so much!
