I can't really think of an UO for the day, but since you're all talking about LLR...that reminds me. At my OB appointment on Tuesday I sat down in the foyer in front of the elevators to put my paperwork away and text my husband before I went to lunch and my next appointment, and there was a lady waiting for the elevator. If she had been wearing anything else, she would have been supermodel-esque stunning. She had the most beautiful bone face structure, really almost fluorescent green eyes, lovely red hair, and a height I would have killed for. But it was all overwhelmed by the fact that she was wearing some fugly mismatched LLR patterned leggings and one of those horribly baggy LLR shirts in some weird grey-not-quite-black patterned color. I'm sorry, but it looked like a literal black plastic trash bag with her limbs stuck through it. That stuff may be hella comfortable, but I think it should be kept as "comfy house clothes". I will admit that some of the LLR dresses can be kinda cute on the right shape of woman, layered with a jean jacket or cardigan, and some jewelry. But on the whole, their stuff just isn't very flattering. And the prices they charge for it all is just criminal.
I used to sell llr and I am so sick of the clothes that I’ve been selling off my personal collection on eBay. I now wonder how I ever thought the stuff was cute but as someone said earlier they can’t imagine having 10k in llr clothes on hand, I can because I did! I now still have 150 items left that I might just donate to a women’s shelter because I’m so sick of trying to sell it! I do think that llr can be a small business because unlike other mlm’s You have to buy the merchandise first at wholesale cost and then sell it. I had an LLC for my business. I am very happy to be done with it now especially because it’s a sinking ship
I’ve talked MLM before - I sell SeneGence. I take it seriously but it’s still only on the side for me, and there’s definitely a good way and a spammy way to do it. I keep it mostly off of my personal page, I try to provide more value to my group with tips, demos, games, etc. and try to let people come to me when they’re ready and not harass to see if anyone wants something. I could be more successful if I pushed the party thing but I don’t really like doing that at all. I do have a small team and I really enjoy that part of it too.
But with regard to empowering women/relieving them of debt providing independence etc. it’s absolutely possible and I’ve watched it happen for girls in my broader team. I don’t like the companies that require you to place so much in an order, or have monthly orders or whatever. I wouldn’t do SeneGence if that’s what they required because you’re right it’s not worth going into crazy debt over.

My heart hurt when I read the Khloe k thing. I mean, they're gazillionaires but human. If it was at all in the least bit true that that girl was hanging out with him all weekend I would be livid.
I agree with you @hardlyhannah I also do a MLM on the side. It is definitely putting some extra in savings for my unpaid maternity leave. I have seen many successful women in it and it can be done. I also agree with the spammy way of doing it and just sticking a feeler out there to see what happens. I hate pushy people and I rarely do parties but have made some awesome new friendships through it. I feel your business does so much better when you are honest and genuine instead of being pushy and fake. I also want to say that every company is different. I have done many and the one I am with now has been the best one I have found for me.
Maybe I’m just a bitch but if it is indeed true that Khloe’s bf cheated on his last pregnant girlfriend with Khloe and she was well aware of the fact, I do not feel bad for her. Of course I don’t think she deserves to be cheated on but hello, what did you think would happen? He’s a cheater. If all that is a rumor then poor girl.
