Warning about The Bump appointment tracker sharing data with your family if you have a family iCloud account

I loved the idea of tracking my appointments and questions I should ask in The Bump app. Yesterday I entered info for my first prenatal visit. Today my little sister called me asking if I was pregnant because her calendar popped up with a new event added for my prenatal visit! Apparently putting the appointment on The Bump calendar puts it in iCal on your family calendar, which is automatically shared with anyone listed as family if you have Family Sharing turned on on your iPhone! So watch out! I covered pretty well but I am so bummed about this and I’m hoping she won’t spill the beans! She’s only 18 and the literal worst at keeping secrets so I didn’t want to tell her yet because we’re planning to tell everyone when we’re home in May/hit 12 weeks.
