@pumpkinpancake Nice! I lived in central Jersey too for 25 years (in Hamilton) then lived in Langhorne PA for 2 years before moving to Colorado 4 years ago for work

I think the big wtf is to dental insurance. DH is an independent contractor and dental insurance doesn't make sense fiscally. The insurance itself costs more per month than a cleaning. How does that make sense??? In NJ they did make a new law that kids under 19 have to have dental insurance, so it's included in our insurance. But this year our insurance also went up $500/month.. so thanks for that?
I did a quick search and there's nothing in my area. The schools seem to be out in Boston. I'm not sure a two hour drive is worth it tbh. I haven't gone to the dentist for like 7 years and I don't have any issues. I have noticed I start bleeding when brushing my teeth most days now. I haven't been concerned since Dr said it's normal but she recommends routine cleanings. Any thoughts? Anyone else notice any dental/oral changes?
Do you floss daily? That should help with your gums. I started using those plastic flossers a couple years ago. I keep a stash in my car and do it when sitting in morning traffic. It has made a huge difference
@nayyohme I didn't floss regularly either but now that I do I've noticed a big difference. That being said my I didn't have any major issues with my teeth until I got pregnant with DS. It all went down hill since then even though I brush and floss regularly. And I can feel the difference in my teeth now that I'm pregnant again.
My dentist told me that it was a good idea to floss while pregnant since there's a higher chance of gum disease while pregnant. I have really good teeth and have had minimal issues as an adult.
Totally forgot anything to do my hair for this wedding... No hair dryer, curler, or even a round brush. Guess I'm letting it air dry and hope it looks ok!
As someone who works in a dental office, please floss daily! I’m usually terrible at taking care of my teeth and never have issues, but I’ve been having terrible issues ever since I got pregnant. Sensitivity and inflamed gums. I now floss daily and use a prescription strength fluoride mouthwash. I’ve noticed a huge difference.
You are so susceptible to gum disease when pregnant and infections can move thru your bloodstream and affect the baby. They can also affect your heart, which is why good oral care is always important. A lot of heart disease is linked with poor oral hygiene.
@sarahzett and others missing bagels...I adventured with the Bantum Bagels Mini Stuffed Bagels from the frozen section of the grocery tonight and it was like a mini slice of home. Got the everything stuffed with veggie cream cheese (since cooking heats that) and it was so, so good. Highly recommend to anyone missing those northeast carbs!
Wtf bump app! I suddenly get all of these "you may like" ads at the bottom of all my screens... no I liked the app without the additional ads to screw up my bumping...
@mamabearcj Ugh, yes! And they are all click-bait titles too! I never had any of the issues with the app that everyone was talking about, until today. And it's miserable. Honestly, using the web browser is almost just as bad.
@SawyerRichardson I just noticed all the ads today as well so it must have been an overnight update... almost none of the ads or titles are even baby, or family related.. they re all completely random titles
@jemmerjams I don’t know too much about it. Just the he bought a raspberry pi and the app(?) is called pi-hole. Every once in a while I have to disable it if a site (like CBS when I want to watch survivor) doesn’t work with ad blockers. But most of the time it’s awesome. Even took away our ads on words with friends.
And I am officially done with that shit. The app has been deleted. Hopefully I like the browser version better (but I would note that there was a reason I kept using the app).
Everyone using the app, there is an option to contact the Bump Support under “More”. (On the IPhone App, More is in the bottom right corner.)
I think all of us using the app, or having trouble with the Browser version need to contact support this morning with our issues. They likely aren’t reading the forums closely enough to see our complaints.
Yeah, @knottieamusements...you won't like the browser better. It's just as bad.
Something else that infuriates me about both the app and browser is that it takes forever to load where I left off in the thread. So, I have to scroll to find what I last read or responded to.
@sliztee - At least the browser is not currently taking over my entire screen with a pop-up ad every time I click on the reply box or post reply button. That is a minor improvement.
I usually check the number of “new” comments and scroll to the bottom and count up. For some reason, in either place, it is hit and miss whether it takes me to the right location.
I know this thread is almost a week old, but WTF to my boss. I fell on the stairs Sunday night and hit my belly. I’ve been cramping ever since and still went to work yesterday. Finally called the doctor today and they’re sending me to the ER. My boss is apparently PISSED. My H texted her so I wouldn’t have to stress about work, so idk if it’s because I didn’t call personally, but I’m in a hospital bed. I have no service and I’m in pain. Wtf?!

Also, the Bump appears to now be eating my line breaks.
