Re: Questions w/o 4/8

  • @babybrain2018 Just got caught up on the convo. Thinking of you this morning, and I hope everything is okay!

  • @babybrain2018 praying for you and babe, how are you doing?
  • @Jessie42613 @tessiesmom26, I will second BuyBuyBaby if you have one near you.  Side note, it is owned by Bed, Bath & Beyond and you can use the BBB coupons at BuyBuyBaby, also.

Otherwise, your next best bet would be local stores, if there are any of those around.  Unfortunately, it is pretty much Walmart, Target and Amazon these days.

  • Hey ladies! I'm almost 11 weeks and currently battling a cold. Fever has gone down (never got above 99) but now I'm left with a cough and stuffy nose/congestion. Any good suggestions for surviving a cold while pregnant?
  • @melicee14 I’m just getting over my cold but I just did the grin and bear it method. No meds except I tried Vick’s one night but it didn’t help. I hope it passes quickly and you feel better soon.
  • My cold is miserable so I sucked it up and am taking robitussin dm and tylenol (essentially the only otc meds allowed during pregnancy). Cold still sucks but it's more bearable. My OB said the bug that has been going around is a lingering cold that takes a while to leave so... Oh joy.

  • @melicee14 Take a hot steamy shower followed by a long warm bath. That really helped me feel better when I had a cold a few weeks ago. I hope your cold goes away quickly!
@lurvleybunchococonuts My cold lasted forever. I so hope yours goes away in no time! How are you feeling?

My question: What is everyone doing about bras? I can't remember what I did during my first pregnancy. MH commented this morning that my boobs are definitely getting bigger, and I'm starting to tell my bras are getting smaller!  :| Do I just buy up a size and hope it lasts throughout the rest of my pregnancy?

  • @offtoneverland Bigger bras are usually the first clothing item I need! I have the next size up saved from my last pregnancy...as well as the next size up. I went from a 36B first pregnancy to a 38D. I was a 34A this time around, and I needed the 36B about a week after my BFP...and I now had to get out my 36C from last pregnancy. My boobs do ridiculous things while pregnant.

  • I hope everyone with colds get relief soon! Colds while pregnant are awful!

@offtoneverland I bought soma nursing bras after DS and I’ve been living in the same bras ever since. My boobs got a bit smaller, but the bras are just so great that I kept wearing them. Now my boobs fit in them again and they are so comfortable.

  • @offtoneverland eh it's going. Actually not too terrible today but still not great. Bearable at least. I seem to be producing mucus at an alarming rate

  • Thanks ladies! I took some tylenol to reduce the fever and have basically powering (and using my neti-pot) through the congestion. Might have to take some robitussin if this cough doesnt let up in order to make it through work. Thanks for the suggestions! Nice relaxing bath for me today! Hope everyone has a wonderful week.   @MouseMama817 @lurvleybunchococonuts @offtoneverland
  • I haven’t tried them yet, but I was recommended these from Amazon:  https://www.amazon.com/Anemone-IW-4540-Seamless-Removable-Straps/dp/B00JJTJIBU
