28 week appointment today too. Rhogam time. Also getting an ultrasound and seeing the overreactive OB in the practice. Nervous she’s going to make a big deal about something. Hoping it’s all in my head.
-Chiropractor today -30 week OB on Wednesday. Guess it's also an educational visit with the NP where we go over post partum stuff. Fingers crossed my BP behaves and I dont get sent for monitoring again. Need to remember to ask about my Tdap shot. -30 week growth ultrasound at MFM on Thursday.
I had my 30 week appointment today. She said everything was perfect. Still need to go and get my tdap so I'll get around to that this week. I also finally got around to trying to book my classes that I was interested in - and there were a lot less slots available now since the last time I looked! So I'm not scheduled for my hospital tour umtil 5/5 and my Babies/Birthing Blitz is 5/19.......... aka me being almost 37 weeks, and it's a 7 1/2 hr, all-day class with breakfast/lunch. Should be fun (lolol)!
30 week apt tomorrow. Doc is on vacation so I'm meeting with one of the nurses. I had my 3rd tri meeting with one of the nurses at work today and got the official tour of the lactation area (they didn't do that last time around).
Just chiro Wednesday and you're right if you're guessing I'm counting down. 2 full days at this point because it's at 5:30 lol
Note: anyone with back issues - I tried BioFreeze last night and it did 100% help for a good long while. It's not a muscle issue, but it helped muscles around the area relax enough that I didn't wake until my usual time of 2am lmao
Going to see a hypertension specialist tomorrow morning, per my OB. Will be interesting to see what she says. I've never had high blood pressure, so not sure what to expect. Then, immediately after, I go to what is the first of now weekly NSTing. I am now wishing we lived closer to my hospital. Lol!
@LaceyBee522 ugh. That totally blows. At least there is a semi game plan though! With DD it got so annoying towards the end with weekly appts with OB and weekly appts with MFM.

@LaceyBee522 I go see my cardiologist and take metoprolol. Not sure how your experience may differ, but I was told from the beginning I am automatically signed up for weekly NST at 32 weeks so I shall be joining you soon on that. My doc is in a building that's kind of part of the hospital so I'm going to try and piggyback my visits because its going to get crazy!
@LaceyBee522 I'm sure that's not what you were hoping to hear but at least you'll be on top of any serious changes. I begin weekly NST beginning at 33 weeks too...
@LaceyBee522 weekly NSTs sounds like a pain, but at least they've got you covered and you have a game plan. I hope your appointment this morning went well!!
AFM I had my 30 week appointment today. Met my new ob and she is wonderful! Much more willing to answer questions than my dr in San Diego. I got my tdap and scheduled my growth ultrasound for 34 weeks. I also got a prescription for my breast pump and info for the hospital I'll be delivering at so I can finally start the ball rolling on all of that stuff! LOs heartbeat sounded good and it felt nice to finally see a dr again.

Sorry about all your new appointments (specialists/NST) @LaceyBee522. Hoping everything goes smoothly!
We can start a NST club here soon, @amys614 and @stephcat421. I go in for my first one on Friday at 29 weeks (to monitor a her heart rate after some previous "mysterious" heart rhythms), immediately followed by an ultrasound to check growth and fluid level.
Just had my 30 week growth scan and I can not believe little dude is head down. I was certain he was still transverse. I know I feel a butt all the time right at about belly button level but I have yet to feel anything close to high or near my ribs. Everything at belly buttonish level. He must keep his legs curled at all time.
He is an estimated 3lbs 5oz and in the 51st percentile. Doctor is guessing he will be just under 8lbs. And now, I shall go all AW. It was just so cool! So happy that my heart medication is not effecting his growth. I go back for one more growth scan at 36 weeks.
Had my 32 week appt today and first appt rotating through the practice. Really liked this doctor! So I’m glad about that. Baby girl is head down but I know she still likes to flip so I’m not getting too excited about that quite yet. I get my OB if I deliver on a Monday. Get today’s OB if I deliver on a Tuesday. TBD what the other doctors’ days are.
I had my 32 week yesterday. My OB is estimating that this one is about 4 pounds (larger than average) and will be in the high 8s at 40 weeks (DS was 8.11). While this one is head down, she thinks it could still flip, but I have no reason to be concerned about a breech baby at this point because DS wasn't breach. She said I do have to be more concerned about a sunny side up baby this time though (because DS was).
Had my 30 week appointment yesterday- babe is breech, but no big deal right now. She was also kicking the doppler, which was pretty funny/cute. She's probably a bit bigger than average. Dr isn't worried about my swelling and basically confirmed that being uncomfortable, short of breath, and sore is pretty much normal at this point.
Had my 30 week appointment yesterday. Mentioned to teh OB that there were some brand new babies in the waiting room, and that I don;t think my DD was ever that small. She said, probably not... and that the 95th+++ percentile boy in my belly could be as big as one of the twins out there already. (SAY WHAT?!?!)
So, off for a growth scan and biophysical marker US on 4/16. Then a follow up 32 week appt with OB on 4/18.
She has already confirmed she will not let "wee" one stay in any longer than 38 weeks... and will likely induce (fingers crossed) once she has a better idea as to the size of him.... So, count on this being a May baby.
Oh, and got a prescription for the heartburn. I'm no hero. Actually slept last night, rather than up with heartburn all night.

@rnielsen321 did they give you an estimate of what he weighs now? I'm all kinds of interested in what other 30 weekers are weighing in at since my scan yesterday. I'm glad your doctor is up for letting you go early. A girl I work with just had an 11 pound boy a few months ago and she kept begging to be induced and they kept telling her size alone was not a qualifying factor.
@amys614 - OB would not commit at this point... She said she would have a better idea after my scan in 10 days. I have been measuring 5-7 weeks ahead for most of this pregnancy, but as we were a FET (5 day) then we know exact "conception" and so dating is really accurate. My DD was born at 36w6d weighing 8 lbs 12 oz and got stuck, forceps/vacuum to get her through, and they thought she may have damaged her shoulder. Knowing that, this OB wants to avoid injury, which I believe is also part of the decision to go early.

NST and Ultrasound both went well today. I wasn't sure what to expect going into the NST but they set me up in a little room with a recliner. I just hung out for 30 minutes, listening to her heartbeat and playing on my phone. It was actually kind of relaxing. Luckily she was very reactive, so it was quick, too!
All the measurements at the ultrasound were perfect - she's measuring a little small (in the 20th percentile) but with our short genes that's not surprising. More importantly the amniotic fluid levels were normal and placenta is in great shape. She's head down and I found out the spot were I always feel her kicking up by my ribs IS her feet, like I thought. She was chewing on her hands the whole time, just like her brother does...haha.
