@becca_123 have you ever had browned butter? It basically just tastes like that (since that's actually what it is). I'm excited to try cooking with it, especially in things like risotto.
I am trying to only eat a measured serving when I eat ice cream, because I am loving it so much. I have no idea who what this Signature Reserve brand is, but you guys, this guava cheesecake flavor is to.die.for. And this brand is so creamy and good. No wonder the calories on it are like double Edys or Breyers. But yes, this is my grocery store highlight of the week.
ETA: it appears to be a store brand. Other flavors available include Maple Bourbon Blondie, Caramel Apple Chai, Indian Caradmom Pistachio, and Columbian Cold Brew Caramel. I may need to try them all.
Craving chocolate milkshake today. Specifically the way a diner will do it, with the metal thing ....
Down side? Diner near my house closes before I even get off work *side eye*
Had a turkey pita yesterday - tomatoes, cucumber, grilled mushrooms & onions and tzatziki .... baby loved! At the time. Then hated Stomach did not agree with keeping it in.
We made tacos last night for dinner and with the leftovers I had a taco salad today for lunch. I could eat tacos forever.

Has anyone tried the delightful hummus? The dessert flavored? I bought brownie batter the other day and dipped my strawberries in it tonight. Pretty damn good for being healthy. Apparently they have 4 flavors.
@amys614 Dessert hummus sounds so weird to me...although now that I say that, I did make a cookie dough dip once that's base was pureed chickpeas, so I guess that's sort of the same thing! lol...
Please tell me what store carries that brand of ice cream because EVERY flavor sounds amazing! I'm sure its a store we don't have, because I probably would have scoped them out I have an ice cream problem...once upon a time I measured out my servings. These days, all bets are off!
Gah! @doxiemoxie212 - today is literally the last day of my week of at home glucose testing - and now I want cake. Haha. Maybe I will make a cake tomorrow
Our front desk receptionist always has candy out, but it's never the kind to tempt me (tootsie rolls, peppermints, etc.) About a week ago she added a dispenser that has peanut butter filled pretzels on one side and a salty/chocolate trail mix on the other. I cannot stay away. Trail mix with nuts, raisins, and M&Ms is my downfall. I know she sees how often I visit her... just for the trail mix. I use the pregnancy as an excuse.

@mytinc - I'm laughing, because if I were you I'd set up camp with the receptionist, or ask if we could move the dispenser closer to my work area. I LOVE the PB filled pretzels. And trail mix with the chocolate pieces (really any trail mix, though).
When I was in high school our school counselor used to have a stock pile of PB filled pretzels. She was actually really cool, so my friends and I would hang out in her office sometimes during lunch to get away from the noisy cafeteria, and we'd all buy ice cream and dip the pretzels in it. Best dessert ever.
I like the PB filled pretzels too @izza2. I was avoiding those previously because she just had a big open container on the desk that people could grab a handful. I'm not a complete germ-a-phobe by any means, but I was a little grossed out at the idea of a community bowl. Now that there's a dispenser... it's on.
And there's only a small conference room between my office and the front desk... so I'm already pretty close. I can grab a handful on the way to/from the bathroom or break room or whatever. It's way too convenient.

@BurlapandLace that was totally me Wednesday night. Even my bf was like wow, you guys are eating way more pieces than you usually do. I told him to can it and mind his own business haha
@doxiemoxie212 wasted or stale cake would be tragedy. You're doing the right thing.
Guys, still over here riding the avocado toast train. Will I ever tire of it? 3-4x a week for the past 4 months.
@LaceyBee522@doxiemoxie212 Have either of you eaten at The Big Ragu? Their Milan-style pizza looks fanflippingtastic. Oh, the things I would do for a slice of gooey pizza right about now....

@amys614 I have never heard of dessert hummus. Sounds great!
All the talk of cheesecake on the randoms thread really has me wanting some. I love making cheesecake so that might have to happen this weekend.
I’ve been obsessed with stir fry recently so I have two different kinds on my meal plan for this week.

I've wanted cheesecake for a week now, and the half baked ice cream I bought last night did not satisfy that craving.
