How far along are you/how big is baby? 18 weeks, an artichoke
How are you feeling? Fine, I guess. Just hungry all the time. Not sure if I need a new pillow or what, but I've gone to bed and woken up with the same headache for three days in a row now, it hurts to move my eyeballs. They seriously need to do clinical trials on safe-for-pregnant women pain relievers that aren't Tylenol. Rants/raves/questions? Rant: Having to temper my increased appetite with my blood sugar requirements. So lots of eating on a schedule when I take my insulin shots, rather than when I want. Plus having to limit what I can eat and being strict on portion sizes which let me tell you is super lame.
Any appointments this week? A/S on Tuesday afternoon! I've never wanted a weekend to be over so soon, ever.
GTKY: what is your favorite flower? Lilacs, irises, lilies, daisies, wild roses, cat mint. All of them, really!
How far along are you/how big is baby? 18 weeks-artichoke How are you feeling? pretty good, still having trouble sleeping because I’m always stuffed up but hopefully when the warmer weather comes that will improve Rants/raves/questions? I got some extra energy yesterday and I’ve been cleaning out the house from all unneeded things! Any appointments this week? nope not until next week GTKY: what is your favorite flower? gerber daisies, ranunculous, peonies
How far along are you/how big is baby? 19 weeks, a mango.
How are you feeling? Pretty good overall, but I've been sleeping kind of poorly the past few days. Not sure if that's because it was the first week back from spring break, or if it's pregnancy related. I sleep a long time (minus the bathroom breaks), I just always have a hard time waking up and getting moving.
Rants/raves/questions? Nothing to really rant about. Just impatiently waiting to feel some movement down there.
Any appointments this week? No, not until April 16 Have my 2nd AS (? - I guess that's what it is?) to look at baby's heart at 24 weeks, which is May 3.
GTKY: what is your favorite flower? Tulips, Roses, and Magnolias.
@neeraja_k How exciting for your AS this Tuesday! I'd love to hear how it goes. And this is probably a 'no duh' thing, but when I get really bad headaches behind my eyes, I use a washcloth soaked in hot water. Ring it out and just lay it across my nose and eyes and just lay down and relax. I get a lot of sinus headaches so that seems to relax and open everything up and help my headache - sometimes more than medicine.
@hezzer78 Yeah, I'm assuming it's a sinus headache variant as we've been having a lot of low pressure weather systems move or stall over us the past few days, and those always get me. But this is getting old. I might take my contacts out and rock my glasses today, to see if that helps any.
I kind of did the "hot thing on my face" today in my "Satan Shower" as my husband calls it, just stood with my face in the hot spray and it did seem to help with the pain a bit. I'm a religious user of nasal sprays, pre-pregnancy it was Nasocort and I do use it still maybe once a week because it works so well, shh. But after I found out I was pregnant I switched mostly to Rhinocort. Between both of them it helps keep everything open and I'm able to breathe clearly now with very little inflammation or mucus, which has been so nice.
But I have been waking up with a sore and stiff neck. I feel like I toss and turn all night, like I can't find a comfortable position. And having a sick husband who refuses to take cough medicine and then coughs all night, waking me up, doesn't help either.
How far along are you/how big is baby? 20 weeks- A paper airplane How are you feeling? Much better after recovering from a sinus infection Rants/raves/questions? My amazing husband detailed my car this weekend. It looks brand new. Any appointments this week? Not till next week. GTKY: what is your favorite flower? Gerbera Daisies
