How far along are you/how big is baby? Wahoo 20 weeks!! The bump says banana but that is such a strange scale to me. Starting to think in ounces is pretty cool though. Supposed to be around 10 oz I think? How are you feeling? good. I got sick at the airport yesterday which was out of the ordinary as I haven't had any morning sickness in about a month. Think it was just the 2:30 am wakeup and standing in line for customs for around an hour. I swear my husband always ends up flagged for extra checks. He says its probably because its a dual citizen, but I always claim racial profiling. Lol he's Vietnamese and Hispanic but he swears he looks Turkish. Whatever that means. Rants/raves/questions? had a wonderful vacation but so glad to be home. Have a lot to do for work etc the next few weeks, but feeling refreshed and okay about it all right now Any appointments this week? YES. Anatomy scan on Thursday. I'm feeling excited but pretty nervous. Haven't seen the bean since 9 weeks and didn't have any genetic testing done, so just really hoping not to be surprised with any major anomalies. I'm low risk, but that doesn't mean it can't happen. also, planning on staying team green if possible. Going to be so tempting to just look up and see since my husband and I could probably figure it out even if they don't tell us.
GTKY: what is your favorite flower? peonies. I have a bush in my backyard that is beautiful. Im also a sucker for cheap carnations though too.
@doctormom33 yay for the anatomy scan! Fingers crossed for a good scan! We have ours April 6 (almost 21 weeks) and I can’t wait. We haven’t seen baby wolverine since week 13 and not heard heartbeat since week 17. I can’t wait
How far along are you/how big is baby? 19 weeks. Size of a game boy or cucumber. How are you feeling? Not bad. Still pretty tired. Today I had tons of plans for what I was going to accomplish. I went to work for a few hours this morning, then laid down and slept most of the afternoon. Rants/raves/questions? Rave: We bought a co-sleeper bassinet last night. Our first major purchase! Found one on Facebook for a great price.
Question: anyone else not feeling movement yet? I’m not yet and starting to worry a bit. Any appointments this week? Not this week sadly
GTKY: what is your favorite flower? The more fragrant the better. I love lavender. And I have a soft spot for carnations.
@stac928 I have been having trouble telling gas from baby movements. I think I've felt movements a few times at night especially, but I'm also pretty gassy... So its really hard to tell. I can't wait until the movements are easier for me to distinguish.
I also understand the anxiety with not seeing/hearing baby recently. My last scan was at 9 weeks, last appointment/heartbeat at 17 weeks, and my scan on Thursday will be 20+5, so I am definitely ready.
How are you feeling? tired. A little more energy than in previous weeks, which I'm thankful for. Rants/raves/questions? I found the jogger stroller we wanted for 44% off, brand new. Considering most of the used ones I saw weren't even that cheap, I scooped it up, and am so excited for it! Ooo and four day work week this week! Any appointments this week? Regular ob apt on Thursday. First one since dealing with abnormal sequential screen results, a/s, and follow up with mfm. Interested to see my doc in person and see his take on things. GTKY: what is your favorite flower? dahlias. Especially the large dinnerplate ones. When we first moved in, I planted around 300 bulbs of all different flowers, now I can't remember what is where and I'm anxious to see what comes up this spring.
How far along are you/how big is baby? 17 weeks. The size of a pomegranate
How are you feeling? I have had little to no symptoms all pregnancy except for this nipple fire. Rants/raves/questions? I recently learned about missed miscarriages which has had me pretty nervous. I always assumed you would know that you miscarried. Being between appointments and not feeling the baby move yet has been a very worrisome time period.
Any appointments this week? My next doctors appointment is next week, so I am patiently waiting for the weeks to pass.
GTKY: what is your favorite flower? I love most flowers as long as they are colourful.
