I’ve lurked this board for a few days and decided to introduce myself. I post on TTCAL but just found this board and decided it could be beneficial. I’m 42. ****TW***** my first pregnancy was successful and delivered my son at 40. We were eager to expand our family and started TTC when DS was 5 months old. I got pregnant again and found out that heart stopped at 10 wks. I’ve since had two more MCs but those did not go past 6 wks. We started IUIs last March with femara and then added injections. We are continuing with that for a couple more cycles. Not sure we will consider IVF. I’m currently WTO CD 6 and on day 4 of meds.
@Mack2342 Hi and welcome. I'm so sorry for your losses but happy you decided to join us. Wow, our stories are very similar: I'm 42.5, had DS at 40 too! We're TTC #2 without luck so now we're moving to IVF in May. My history should be in the spoiler box. Anyway, GL!

Thanks @mich_elle yeah I will be 43 in May. GL w IVF process. We have talked about it but not sure we will go that route with it being so expensive. My RE is raffling off an IVF cycle so we are putting in for that and if we win of course we will do it!
Hi @Mack2342 I wondered if I'd see you over here Even though I don't post often, this is another great group like TTCAL and I find it encouraging not being the only "older" woman TTC. I've learned a lot from this board!
@Mack2342 My FX that you win that raffle! The *only* way we're able to consider IVF is bc we have insurance for it. Otherwise, we'd be one-&-done for sure. Best of luck to you!

@bakerstreetboys I just happened to stumble on it and thought I could benefit.
@mich_elle that’s great that you have insurance. My insurance has been great so far covering most of the IUI and medicines. However it doesn’t cover IVF I think it will cover some of meds needed for IVF but that’s about it. So if we win raffle I will definitely do it.
