Icy hot safe for back pain?

Currently 27 wks, has anyone’s dr told them if it is safe or unsafe to use icy hot for back pain??

I was told tiger balm was. I’m sure icy hot has the same active ingredients.

Have you asked your doctor? I personally stay away from it and just use ice packs and heating pads (with moderation). My doctor hasn’t mentioned it even though I’ve told her about my pains and sciatica issues.
