  • 10w5d.

Still nauseous and getting sick most days. I'm slightly dehydrated, so that's been fun. And from all the puking I have a horrible cough. It makes my trivia hosting job difficult! I've had some headaches from it all too.

    8w3d.

Feel more and more nauseous but not actually throwing up yet. Allllll the heartburn. If that's an indicator of how much hair this kid will have, I'm growing Chewbacca.
Also today, I started feeling weird pains. I wouldn't even call them cramps necessarily, it's like a strange, sharp, ache in my upper abdomen that happens and then just as quickly goes away. I'm not worried because I haven't had any bleeding other than minor spotting every so often, and I feel like everything's okay. My first u/s appointment is next week so I guess I'll find out for sure if it's something to be concerned about.
  • @lynzev is it round ligament pain? Although, normally that's in your pelvic area.
  • @sammierose464 I'm not sure! That's what I was thinking too but everything I read said that it was in your pelvic area, and these were right under my sternum, and it almost felt like a line down my stomach, if that makes sense. Maybe it was something I ate, because the first one happened around 5am when my alarm was going off this morning, and then it happened a few more times at work first thing this morning but other than that nothing. Other than feeling bloated all day which is normal, I just forgot that in my previous post.

    How do you feel?

Physically, I’m mostly pretty good. I am still dealing with a sensitive gag reflex, and I thought that the apathy about eating would disappear with the nausea, but it didn’t.  Also, bedtime is too freaking early.

Emotionally, I am halfway to a wreck.  Things that a couple months ago I would have shook my head and moved on, now have me pissed off, or ugly crying, or whatever. Worse than that, I feel overwhelmed by all the everyday things- getting laundry done, taking care of my dog, finding time to do bills, talking to people.

I really want to introvert.  I am hanging on by my fingernails until Monday, when I have a day off.  I’m not letting anyone into that time.
  • 10w4d

I'm almost nervous to say my nausea/sickness has eased off a bit, scared I'll jinx it! I think the Diclectin might be starting to work. I'm mostly just tired ALL the time. I crash hard at work around 3pm.

I've been eating so many popsicles! I craved them with DS too and this one seems to be same. I have like 2 a night  :p
  • @knottieamusements I give you a ton of credit. I'm really relying on my hubby lately. Doing this single has to be very trying some days.
  • Well my toddler just patted my back while I bailed mid bedtime routine to puked. So that’s about how things are going over here. His fault for giving me this damn cold anyways. The coughing from the cold triggers the gag reflex from the pregnancy and vomit ensues. Rough day. What’s odd is I had a cold this exact same week when I was pregnant with DS. Guess my immune system just crashes around now.
  • @sammierose464 - I keep trying to rely on my dog, but he just tells me to get in the kitchen and make him some dinner.    Mostly, I get stuff done, and the stuff that doesn’t get done just irritates me, not a partner.

I honestly don’t know which is easier- having a partner or not having a partner.  I know some partners are super empathetic and supportive, and others are not. I remember the friction with my ex, and I am super glad I’m doing this without him.
  • @tinattt23 - i feel you pain. I have a horrible cough from the puking. the coughing triggers the gag reflex. Today in the car my bonus son made me laugh so hard i puked. thankfully we were at the a light and i just opened the door!

@knottieamusements a lot of it is stuff that bothers me and not my hubby. he could have a sink overflowing with dishes and not care, it bugs the heck out of me!
  • 12 weeks 1 day. So tired. Baby doesn't like buffalo wings. That is all.
  • 11 weeks. I feel car Sick and exhausted
  • 12 weeks 3 days and I started bleeding yesterday. Want to get a sonogram and everything looks good with baby- I just have a small blood clot that will either absorb into my body or pass. Not the best feeling but it was reassuring to see baby yesterday.

I'm with you on the occasional spotting. I'm actually going in for an u/s today because I had some minor spotting Sunday and he told me to come in (just to reassure me) if I had more. Sure enough yesterday I did (nothing red, mostly brown some pink but I don't remember having this with DD). I still have major symptoms ( MS, fatigue, sore breasts), and I spotted the same around 5 weeks and baby was great and strong on the 14th for our first scan but I know I'll feel better to just see.

The nausea has been much more constant the last few days and I’m completely exhausted. I also found out I have a UTI which luckily they caught before I had many symptoms (I’ve actually never had one before so I wouldn’t really know what to expect). Just hoping it or the antibiotics don’t harm the baby in any way.

  • How far along are you? 10 weeks 5 days

How do you feel? Sick most days, vomiting on occasion. Threw up last night in the gym parking lot. Exhausted.
  • @spartan4life - this is one of those things that is so common during pregnancy, that as long as they caught it early, I would trust your doctor’s judgment.
  • 8 weeks 4 days.

Im so tired. So, so tired. I stayed home from work yesterday because I woke up bleeding - it was brownish, a little heavier than spotting and freaked me out. Called the doctor but my first u/s is tomorrow anyway so we’re going to wait and see.

Other than anxiety about that, being so tired I can hardly stay awake through work and nausea...just over here waiting for that second trimester burst of energy to kick in.
  • @knottieamusements Thanks! I did ask the nurse and the pharmacist, and they both assured me it is safe and very common. I just find myself worrying about everything right now...

  • All of the puking has created a cough, and to go along with it I'm super congested. In turn I have a horrible headache. I slept horrible and so I just feel like I got hit by a truck today. Trying to focus on the fact that I see my little one today, even though I'm miserable. Also getting the Maternity21 Plus test done today!
  • 9w4d

Exhausted. So very very exhausted. The nausea comes and goes. I puked so much with my first that when I feel it coming on- I run to the bathroom, but luckily (i guess?) I havent really actually thrown up much. I've had some rough days and then some days where I'm not nauseous at all. I'll take it. I think the car sick description, is a great way to describe it. The nausea has definitely been better this go around. I'm also constipated and still not sleeping well :( I've been tossing and turning so much, I've been keeping DH up too. Womp. Oh, and so apathetic about all the food. :(
  • 8w today.

Tired, and I have a lovely, constant, simmering nausea.  No puking thankfully, but it's always, always there.  Broke out the B6 and Unisom last night, and today I'm moderately better.  Thanking my lucky stars that my toddler has been so, so good lately.

I'm having the most bizarre dreams.. two nights ago I was Harry Potter, flying around the mall in my invisibility cloak, and I discovered a secret, closed off third floor to the mall.  Tried to zoom around and explore it, but set off some sort of alarm that scared me and woke me up IRL.

    So, yeah.

I was feeling better for a few days, like I almost for I was pregnant that's how good I felt. Now I'm dealing with nasty headaches when I wake up and everything makes me gag. Emotionally I'm a mess. I've been super stressed about other things in life (That's why I haven't been on here much). I cry over everything and things I would normally brush off irritate me beyond belief.
  • 8w4d

So tired. Answering my phone at work feels equal to running a marathon right now. So i guess i'm seriously lacking motivation as well. Nausea has gotten worse, still not throwing up, so i'm grateful for that! My crazy dreams and not being able to get comfortable are causing sleep deprivation. Also chest acne, i feel like a greasy teenager. The only thing i want to eat is yellow cake with chocolate frosting.
  • 10w3d

I have had the worst cramping. No bleeding. It started on my left side and has made its home right along my c-section scar. It’s the weirdest thing. Like if I push too hard when I pee the cramps are out of control. I’ve spoken with my doctor and the said it’s probably growing pains or to drink water and lay down. I’ve been through this rodeo before and I have never experienced cramps like this.

I’m pretty sure the stress from the pregnancy is gonna kill me. This child is gonna hear about if for YEARS to come.
  • @lynzev sorry! I probably should have put that in the food post. I don't even like cake!
  • 10w6d

Still so, so tired. I can barely make it through work. But if I take a nap when I get home, I can't sleep at night. Also, no motivation, and just want to stay home. Thankful for my husband, because he's been running the errands so I don't have to go. Also, my pregnancy brain is terrible. I keep going to do something and then forgetting what I was doing.

I've also been feeling slightly "crampy" (not really cramps but I don't know how else to describe them, maybe stretching), so I must be going through a growth spurt. Wondering if I'm going to "pop" soon since I'm feeling all this stretching?
  • 9 weeks today. Feeling like my bladders full every 20 mins and only having a little tinkle. Soooo hungry and tired. Wake up with sore boobs that get better throughout the day. Congested nose in the am but I think that's just the weather changing. The only good thing is I haven't had morning sickness in a few days :D Can't shake the anxiety about having a kid. I'm so excited but so scared. I had a dream where I got to hold my baby. Woke up wanting him here already but still have 7 months haha.
  • @mesamyt yeah, this baby is already grounded for the first several months just for making me feel so crummy.
  • This week is kicking my butt. I get exhausted and feel like I just ran a marathon after picking up in one room and taking a shower. Day before yesterday was the worst I've had for feeling nauseated. I'm just so ready to feel at least able to do dishes again. Sighs... I guess I'm feeling grouchy today.

  • @norahkate awesome. Playpens already look like baby jail. Maybe I’ll add some bars to the side and put kid in black and white striped jammies.
  • If only baby was old enough to pull themselves up for Halloween...
  • @indias95 when was the last time your urine was checked at your Dr? You may have a UTI. I have never had one and heard they are horrible and I had one the first time they checked. I guess pregnancy can take away symptoms for some ladies.

11w3d been feeling a little better but sleeping doesn't seem as good. Last night had more stretching (?) twinges. Oh I popped. I popped at like 7 weeks lol I am a bigger lady so I still can hide it with clothing but will be fun (maybe) when I don't have to. Days I am staying home I wear more form fitting things to show it off to DH :)

I can't decide if I've actually gotten bigger or its just my belly. I've been eating more but the scales don't show any weight gain. But my work pants are more snug in the waist. I'm angry at myself for not losing more weight before this pregnancy! I want a bump.
  • 9w 3d
I’m so exhausted and lazy today. I dozed off for a few minutes and I’m still extremely tired. I’ve been nauseous all along but on Sunday I must have had a hormonal peak because I couldn’t keep food down until the next day. (That’s never happened in my other two pregnancies) Haven’t felt sick at all today. My boobs are still soooo sore.
  • 9w6d here.  Feeling good but exhausted all the time. Its a real struggle to stay awake and focused at work these days. And I just want to eat everything!!

Not pregnancy related, but I’m having suchhh bad allergies this season so far, and it’s making me miserable. I’ve always had preyyy bad allergies, but not sure if pregnancy is making them worse.
  • @pumpkinpancake allergies when pregnant are the worst!! When I was pregnant with my daughter, pregnancy made my allergies SO much worse. My doctor said that was normal :( I'm just waiting for them to hit me this time. Hopefully, they wont stay bad for you too long!
  • @lynzev I’m the same way...I haven’t gained any weight on the scale but my pants are definitely tighter (9w tomorrow)! Crazy how that works. I’m a fairly small person and I don’t have a noticeable bump yet, I just look chubby lol.

  • 10 weeks and I am just very phlegm-y. No puking, but I have to hack up whatever's hanging around in my throat a few times a day, so that's fun. I can feel it back there and sometimes it makes swallowing uncomfortable. It's super gross, and very annoying, but I'll take it over puking any day.
