@mrsbubbles-2 This is exactly why we are going to Subway! I made something that didn't turn out very well and I told DH we need to just throw it away. Normally I'm really frugal and would keep eating it even if I didn't like it just so we didn't waste it, but pregnant me is definitely not on board with this plan.
@juliebird6 - ME TOO!!! I made these enchiladas last night that I was really excited about and I don't know if my pregnancy taste buds are in full rebellion or what but they are awful!
Sounds like a footlong night! (tee hee!)
And no, the irony isn't lost on me that you and I are the ones in the no thanks to sexy time camp having a discussion about having footlongs tonight lol!
I had two breakfast sandwiches before 8 am, then lunch and something a friend brought in for all of us to try, followed that with a Snickers bar. Then wallowed in my grossness and food coma for a good half hour.
Red meat and chocolate milk. Or plain milk. Only whole organic milk will do. Don't put that vile skim/non-fat or 1% stuff near me. Really don't have much of an appetite besides those things though.
I'm really enjoying broccoli cheddar soup, but my whole pregnancy so far I've been really into burritos. If I'm ever undecided about what I want, just bring me a burrito. I'm not picky about what kind. I even bought frozen freezer burritos from Costco that I'm really enjoying.

Broccoli cheddar soup is SO good but my god the farts that come with it.

If I don't make it to trader joes to stock up on salads for the week, I eat frozen burritos and chips for lunch everyday. DH gets worried and feels guilty that I'm having such a poor lunch but burritos are so tasty!!
@juliebird6 I'm proud to report I'm currently devouring a foot long. The lady at Subway read my online order wrong and tried to give me 6 inches. It was about to go down.
@calimom2524 Damn straight! I definitely ate my second foot long for lunch today. I seriously scarfed it. Like a 6 inch wouldn't even have scratched the surface of my hunger.
I am hungry CONSTANTLY and if I don’t eat something quickly enough I throw up stomach bile so basically I have a snack with me all the times.
Latey I am all about fruit. I have never liked grapes but I can’t get enough of them and yogurt as well! I also have the oddest cravings for hot dogs, so bizarre because I would NEVER eat them otherwise.
DH and I went to lunch today because we had a gift card to Outback. We got a blooming onion and devoured it on top of my actual meal. When I got back to work there were leftovers from Olive Garden from a meeting, so then I had some breadsticks for my afternoon snack. Me and the baby are very happy today.
@amac12999 I hadn’t had one in such a long time!! It is not a place we frequent often as I’m not a huge chain restaurant fan, but the bloomin onion was definitely one of the better decisions I’ve made lately!
I made arroz con pollo and black bean empanadas. My family used to live downstairs from an Argentinian family, and the mom shared the recipe with my mom. I bake the empanadas instead of frying them (mainly because I'm too lazy to clean up the frying), but it hit the spot. And I have leftovers for lunch!

Annnd after we were talked into the 6 course tasting menu, I just ate the most expensive and most tasty meal of my life. Lots of raw fish (oops) but it was fantastic.
I've been pretty good for most the day - breakfast and lunch will be healthy, but on the way home from work I'm DYING for either Taco Bell, french fries, or a BK Chicken Sandwich (what is up with that?? @calimom2524@khugs15). I refrain every day and settle with either a protein shake or a small piece of cheese and crackers, but it definitely doesn't make me very happy. I may need to get Taco Bell today.
Other than that, I definitely need chocolate in some form or fashion daily. I've been settling for little easter mini-candies, but man.. I could lose myself in some pb chocolate ice cream.
We're leaving Fri night/ Sat morning for Disney World, so I don't want to go grocery shopping. I'm trying to eat the contents of my fridge before we go. I'm missing a ton of staples, but have a bunch of odds and ends. I made fried rice with a bunch of random leftovers, and now I'm making a quesadilla for lunch that will have as much as I can justify from the fridge. I just want to order a pizza, but I can't stand wasting what we have.

@derbysquirrel That's usually what I do for my infamous "Veggie Drawer Soup". It's like a minestrone of all sorts of veggies I don't have enough for an outright meal, but just a bit enough for soup. lol

Sadly, I'm here eating a shrimp California roll and it's such a poor substitute.
