Had my first US today! Saw one baby with a heartbeat of 168. Measuring right along track, 7w4d. The tech said I might be off a day or two but not far enough that they would change the due date. Seeing the heartbeat for the first time was so surreal!!!

@prairiemomma82 oh my gosh! My fingers are crossed for you! I hope everything is ok! I hope your dates are just off. I was told they can't see a HB before 6 weeks. So if the dates are off, that could be ok...
I had my first appointment and ultrasound today. I love my OB so much. She gave me a big hug when she walked in. Everything looks great, and we saw that precious heartbeat. It was 122 and baby measured 6w2d (I am 6w3d according to ovulation although they have me as 6w5d because that's according to my LMP). I didn't even ask what they considered my due date. I'll ask next week. With my loss history We are doing weekly ultrasounds and appointments until 10 weeks. After everything we've been through the last year this seems so surreal!

@mockingjay1 I'm so happy for you!!! That is amazing news! I'm also a little jealous! lol I have to wait another 8 days before I can see my little one.
I had my appointment earlier today and was so relieved to see sweet baby with a heartbeat of 126 bpm. We are measuring about 4 days behind my edd, but doctor wasn’t concerned considering my cycles had been wonky. They also said I had a cyst that looked like it may have been draining which could have been part of the reason for my blood scares. All in all, I’m feeling so much better.
Update: I'm up to 17,294 now, which means a doubling time of 94.9 hours. I read on one of the calculation sites that "normal" doubling time for counts over 6,000 is 96 hours... true?? I'm holding onto that info as a good sign. In the meantime, boobs still hurt, still want to throw up when I hug and catch a whiff of my tween/teen boys and no bleeding/cramping. Dr wants to wait until the scan on Tuesday to see where we go from here.
@prairiemomma82 I’ve heard of the 96 hr doubling time after a certain level of HCG. FX that’s the case and all is well.
I had an ultrasound today (4w3d) and we saw what the RE thinks is the beginning of a gestational sac. Unfortunately, my HCG result was not great: 701 today, up from 571 Monday. So, from 27 last Weds to 701 today = a 1.5 day doubling time, but it still doesn’t look good that it rose only 22% in the last 48hrs. RE isn’t concerned, but I’ve have TW 3 previous losses TW and I’ve been down this road before. Trying not to freak out until I must, but it’s been a rough day.
When is your appointment? Thursday What is being addressed? Another blood draw for HCG levels Questions/Comments/Concerns? Nervous and hoping for good numbers !
@cassafrass15 I'm so sorry that your betas didn't double as expected; that is so incredibly stressful. That is good to know that your RE isn't worried though, but I can't imagine how scared you must be. Do you have another beta scheduled? I'll be thinking of you and crossing my fingers so hard for you! @prairiemomma82 I have my fingers crossed for you as well. Good luck on Tuesday! It made me laugh that the smell of your tween/teen boys makes you want to throw up.
@prairiemomma82 I believe that the higher the beta, the longer it takes to double. Hopefully the next u/s will show great news, but I know waiting for it will be torture @cassafrass15 I see why you’d be scared, but if your doc still seems happy with it, that’s a good sign! Praying for good news for you
I finally got my 2nd hcg level after calling, twice. I have no clue when I ovulated, but I know my first hcg was 220 and one week later it is 3,982. The doctor said to keep my scheduled ultrasound (next Thursday) since my numbers are doubling well. So I have to wait another week before I see the little one and get an actual due date!
@prairiemomma82 - From what I've read that is correct. Once hcg hits 6k ish it doubles much slower. I'd be pretty optimistic with those numbers!
@cassafrass15 - I'm so sorry. I'd be nervous with those numbers too, but I really hope your RE is right and things turn out well for you especially with your history. Thinking of you.

@offtoneverland Thank you for your kind words. I’m really not hopeful at this point and I’m assuming my RE is just trying to be optimistic. He said no more betas because it stresses me out “unnecessarily” and so I’ll just have to wait for my ultrasound next Wednesday to confirm what I already know. Ugh. I feel so much despair already and the baby isn’t even gone yet.
@lifesabeach85 and @mockingjay1 Thank you for thinking of me. Like I said above, not super hopeful because I’ve been there, done this before and it’s never turned out well. But there’s nothing I can do, right? Appreciate your thoughts & prayers.
@cassafrass15 *hugs* I'm sorry you're worried. I would be too. I'm praying that LO is just being stubborn and your next US shows great growth/on track. I would try to focus on the fact that your RE doesn't seem concerned is good, but I 110% understand your fears. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers

@lurvleybunchococonuts Thank you. I so appreciate you ladies and your support. I’m going to try really hard to follow your advice and focus on what the RE said.
Me too @eabrahamson, they claimed I'll get a call tomorrow with the number so I'm going to be hovering over my phone until it rings tomorrow. I wish they had the tech in their office to run them themselves.
@cassafrass15 Hugs, friend. I hate that your joy has been stolen from you again and that sucks that you don't get any more betas. I hope the days go by quickly for you until your ultrasound on Wednesday.
So my first HCG at 13 dpiui was 45. 48 hours later and it’s 69, so the rise was 53.3%. Is this a horrible sign? Got the results online so I’ll probably hear from the doctor tomorrow and I’m not sure what to expect- I guess it’s good it went up, right???
ETA- I had beta one the day before my period. Today is only one day after what would have been my usual period.
TW- It's gone. They couldn't find anything on the ultrasound today. Good luck, lovely ladies. I wish I got to stay longer. I hope you all have long, happy, healthy pregnancies.
