November 2018 Moms

New Momma

Hello all!
Any first-time moms who've been trying 5+ years to have a baby who are due in November? Well, that's me! We've had mostly chemical pregnancies and a miscarriage at 5 weeks in 2017. We started talking adoption seriously over Christmas (hardest time for non-parents). But now here I am, 7 weeks pregnant!! Anyone else not fully able to believe the miracle of being pregnant right now?

I spend my days looking at the week-by-week shots of pregnancy, visualizing my baby. I am so excited!!! We’ve had some frustration with OB care being unempathetic to some issues that arose. But, have seen an ER sonogram of a healthy baby growing (so tiny!) with a heartbeat of 122 bpm.

I look forward to making friends and imparting knowledge from my obsessive online research, lol!

Sincerely,

Nicole

  • Welcome, I'm sorry to hear about your previous losses, but please make sure to intro in the above thread where is says "introduce yourself here" and be sure to read the thread entitled **Read First** Board Organization.  One off posts are discouraged simply because it clutters the board and if we all did it there'd be hundreds of threads that are incredibly difficult to keep up with.  As it is there's a lot of threads to read so we try to keep it as organized as possible.  Thanks and again, welcome!
