Great! I’ve had increased energy. The only negative is I think I might be getting carpal tunnel like I had in my last pregnancy

the last time I was heading to the bathroom at work and I went to grab the door from the person who was in there and the door then slammed shut on my finger and caused my nail to fall off, that was some serious pain right there, I couldn’t even pee!

My anatomy scan isn't until March 27th,but I'll only be barely 18 weeks by that point, so I need to ask on Tuesday about why they're not waiting till the 20th week.
Is it normal for my vulvar area to be so sore? Even just wiping after I pee is painful to the touch.
I was around 13 or so and playing in the woods. I went to push a small dead tree over, it was around the diameter of my upper arm, nothing huge.
Only instead of falling over like I expected it to, it broke in half just above my hand. The jagged bottomed top half came down and basically degloved my pinky finger. I said some choice phrases and walked all the way home, I'd walked down the creek to the river, so it was a fair walk from home. Once I got home I rinsed it under the tap, put antiseptic all over it, pulled the skin back up over my finger, and put a bandaid around it to hold the skin back together and never said a word to my parents.
Amazingly, it never did get infected and healed up with minimal scarring...and my parents were none the wiser.
How are you feeling? Pretty good. I'm getting some horrible heartburn more often - it woke me up in the middle of the night last night and I couldn't get back to bed because it was just so uncomfortable.
Any appts this week? Nope - not until 3/19 - only one more week!!
Rants/raves/questions? I'm pretty boring this week - just super excited it's spring break! Oh and also my husband's best friend is giving us a TON of his baby stuff - crib, pack n play, etc. We're pretty excited.

Oh man - every time I've been injured it's been dumb.
One time when I was a young kid I decided to ride a power wheel backwards (at my brother's insistance) and I flipped it and landed on some rocks. I broke my wrist. Another time when I was a personal trainer, I was working out with a client and tripped over the leg of a machine and fell. When I landed, my elbow smacked into a stack of 45 lb. metal plates and shattered. I had to be off work for 6 weeks and had two surgeries. Yuck.
@neeraja_k Sometimes that area is sensitive for me, or kind of tingly - but it's never been so bad it's been painful. Can you tell if it's red or inflamed? Might be something to bring up to the doctor..

I’m so tired of being tired. I can hardly walk up our stairs or carry DS around or get out of the shower without being light-headed. Also I can’t wait to really feel this baby kick and move around because right now I keep forgetting I’m pregnant and my clothes just make me look “thicker”

Pretty much every way. I broke my foot in 3rd grade from walking down literally 1 step. A month before our wedding DH and I were goofing around and kicking a soccer ball in the backyard and I stepped in a hole and rolled my ankle. Thankfully I’ve been mostly accident-free for awhile lately

How are you feeling?
Exhausted, but that's from working 60 hours or more a week. Finally feeling pregnant, I now have a fairly good size bump to prove it

Out of nowhere, I've been extremely emotional, way more than with #1. No good reason and I cry.

First week of college, freshman year I decided to sumo wrestle in one of those big inflatable suits. I was completely sober and got my butt knocked out by a guy twice my size. No one knew me so they pulled me out of the suit and left me alone. A group of guys I had met once were kind enough to take me to the emergency room and stay with me all day until they could figure out who my roommate was. This was before cell phones were really popular so there was no way to contact anyone because I couldn't remember names or numbers. They took me all over campus trying to figure out who I was and where I belonged. For the next four years, strangers would recognize me as the girl with the concussion. Apparently, I made a lot of friends that day.
@melissaf22-I had that with my last pregnancy. Hopefully, it's not as bad for you this time! I did find sleeping in soft hand braces would help a bit.
