New Bumpie needs help

Hey Ladies! I'm sorry to be a bother, but I was hoping one of you experienced and wise Bumpies might be able to clarify a few things for me so I don't continually screw up on here! I can't find anywhere that explains the technical aspects. 

1. When someone replies to your post with a tag/@, is there any notification or way to see that?

2. There are little circles with pictures and numbers under screen names on posts. I'm GUESSING they mean how many times a certain thing has happened, but I can't find anywhere that explains them for sure. 

3. I've tried reading over the abbreviation list several times, and I'm slowly getting them I think, but my deduction was that "TW" means trigger warning, in case something might upset someone. But then in the board post, TW is used as "twatwaffle". Does twatwaffle mean something different than I think it does? Haha. I figure TW is an important one and I don't want to misuse it. 

4. Also just to confirm my guess is correct, when the little square picture appears at the bottom of your post, does that mean someone "loved it"?

5. Oh and on the spreadsheet, what do the teams mean? Especially Team yellow and green? And do blue and pink mean you are hoping for that sex, or that you know you are having it. 

I apologize if there is somewhere that explains all this! I've tried looking but apparently I'm technologically challenged. (It's probably super obvious too haha)

I wondered about #1 as well because I get no notifications but would appreciate them.

#3 The only way I have seen TW used as trigger warning. (Twatwaffle  Haven't heard that in years!) 

As for #5, green means not planning to know until birth, yellow means going to find out as soon as they can.

Awesome! Thanks @blue2mango! At least I'm not the only one who doesn't get notifications. I was worried I was just not seeing them haha. 
I haven't heard twatwaffle in years either haha. Until I saw it on the "read first" board haha

I get notifications if someone tags me when I open the board on my phone...

Team blue and team pink mean you are having a boy or girl.

You only see a list of all your notifications when on desktop. On mobile, you will only see notifications if you're on at the same time the post happens. 
As for the circles under screen names, those are like achievements from the Bump/the Knot. So like how many posts you've made, how many years you've been a member, etc. They don't really mean anything and I'm not really sure what the purpose is.

iPhone. Maybe it’s like @offtoneverland says and I only see ones when I’m on at the same time because I didn’t get a notification for this one for example

I use the bump and the knot with safari on my iPhone. There is no way to see notifications except if you happen to be online right when someone interacts with your post, and a notification will pop up at the bottom of the screen. You can only see a list of notifications of stuff that happened since the last time you weren't on the site if you use desktop. It would be nice if the bump implemented a a way to see that. 

I generally will keep up with threads I've posted in and go back and look at them again and will see replies that way. Threads that I've clicked on in the past have the little yellow box with a number of new replies, so I can check back that way, too. With messages, I just try to remember to check them every so often (and I have now remembered I haven't done that in a couple weeks!)
