How are you feeling? Good but tired. Back to waking up every 2 hours, most times because I have to pee.
Any appts this week? MFM on Monday - it's by far my most useless appointment, we talk about my diabetes which I talk to the diabetes counselors on the phone at least once every 2 weeks so it just seems like a colossal waste of time. I don't think they even do Doppler or anything. Boring.

GTKY:+(stolen from earlier) What's the dumbest way you've been injured? I'm clumsy so this could be a long list. The dumbest one was when I was in the Army and we were getting ready for the running part of our PT test. Lined up at the start point, the Sergeant said go, I got about 15 steps in to the test and tripped over my own two feel and sprained my ankle. Ended up with an ankle brace and limited activity for 2 weeks. Yay me.

Overall great- I do get headaches, back aches and am eating a lot now. Insomnia is better.

Rant- emotions kind off wacky like full on bawling that the hunter killed Bambi's mom. Poor Bambi
Rave- glad we did away with due date check in weeks. Love the tickers! Much smaller and easier to read.
GTKY: What's the dumbest way you've been injured?
I have a few dumb ones- a few years ago I fell off the curb carrying a pizza box in front of me, didn't see the curb. Embarrassing way to sprain my ankle. The pizza was okay though
When I was younger I was riding my big wheel and my friend was kind of riding/ pushing behind me and my leg went under the big wheel and scrapped the shit out of my knee leaving a scar. Once again, I was embarrassed this happened and didn't want to tell her what really happened so I quickly made an excuse up to get home and limped my way home.
Annnd once my mom was getting me ready for a dance recital and I full on palm grabbed the hot barrel of the wand. Huge pus filled throbbing blisters but the show must go on!

Tuesday- ultrasound and appointment going to try and do the anatomy scan that day too. They tried it this early with my son too but weren’t successful.

of all my injuries I think only one didn’t happen in a dumb way.
I broke my finger trying to get a wiffle ball out of a pine tree. My cousin brother and I put a plastic bucket on a metal stole. Obviously the bucket slipped when I climbed on top and down I went.
The other one my family loves to talk about is I was standing at a baseball game of my brother’s and had our 105lb dog on the leash. He saw another dog and took off meanwhile I twisted funny and as a result tore my ACL.
How are you feeling? Feeling better, minus the heart burn and weekly migraines. Of course just when I start feeling well the pollen starts... ugh
Any appts this week? Had an anatomy scan yesterday. It's a boy!! Everything looks great. I was measuring 15 weeks 5 days. Since my Dr. still had me at 14w 4d I am expecting an EDD change at my next appointment. I had been measuring 2-3 days ahead of my LMP EDD since the first u/s (hence my ticker). I knew my dates were probably off.
Rants/raves/questions? We got to hear the hb with the doppler yesterday. It was wonderful. The dr said it was like chasing a goldfish because baby was moving around so much.
GTKY:+(stolen from earlier) What's the dumbest way you've been injured? I broke my toe when I kicked a very heavy box in my garage while trying to run away from a bug.
How are you feeling? I feel great other than being tired and my sciatica acting up. But, I really can't complain. Much.
Any appts this week? Had one this morning. Got to hear LOs heartbeat (159) and scheduled the AS for 4/6. I can't wait! I had MIL come with me so she could hear the heartbeat. We are close and I just thought since this may end up being her only grandchild and she only has sons she would get a kick out of it. I am pretty sure she got a little teary eyed hearing it.

GTKY:+(stolen from earlier) What's the dumbest way you've been injured? Oh man pretty much every way I get hurt is dumb! I am super clumsy. One time I kinda stapled two of my fingers together. I was standing around a large work-space and talking with a bunch of coworkers. For whatever stupid reason I was absentmindedly playing with the stapler and stuck my fingers under it. (It was one of the large staplers for large stacks of paper) Anyway my ankle decided at that moment to give out and as I stumbled a bit I pushed down on top of the stapler and stabbed my fingers. I was so embarrassed I just kept nodding and continued in the conversation while trying to pry the staple out. Finally I gave up and just asked for help. I felt like a moron.
How are you feeling? Pretty good! The relaxin has been intense on my hips and of course the ever present sciatica but pretty good overall.
Any appts this week? Nope, a couple more weeks until my next one.
Rants/raves/questions? Rant: both boys are sick again, I feel like it's never ending! Rave: my parents are FINALLY coming around and it has changed my mood exponentially.
GTKY:+(stolen from earlier) What's the dumbest way you've been injured? Oh man, this list is long. I once gave myself a black eye while studying; I had my textbook sitting at the top of my binder in my lap and moved my legs, catapulting the textbook off of the binder into my face. I also once broke my foot and I don't know how it happened; I wasn't drunk or anything, I just don't know what happened. When I was 6 I was sledding in Minnesota and avoided all of the trees at the bottom of the hill but hit the electrical box and broke my humorous.

18 Weeks baby is the size of an Artichoke. Doctor said baby is measuring on schedule!
How are you feeling?
Feeling good! I had gestational Diabeties with my first pregnancy so I had to go in for early testing at 16 weeks and passed my one hour! feeling good about it. I have to go back at 28 week to do another.
I am also feeling big. I look like I am around 24 weeks not 18...it's my second so I know the belly expands faster...anyone else in my boat?? (I still love my bump!)
Any appts this week?
No appointments this week.... I have my prenatal assessment on the 26th...still deciding if we should find out boy or girl....we didn't with our first...thoughts??

I need to rant about my husband for a minutes. He is very loving and very sweet, but I am the only one who help out in morning routine. I get my son up, dressed, fed, lunch packed for the babysitter, shoes and coat on and out the door. He needs to step up his game!

I opened the back end of my car to put groceries away and hit my forhead and started to bleed immediatly. It hurt so bad and some guy asked if I needed help and if I was ok, but i was so embarrassed!

How are you feeling? Mostly fine pregnancy related. Constipation comes and doesn't go (see what I did there?) haha... My ear has been hurting for a few days so I think I might have an ear infection but I'm not motivated to go to a different Dr.
Any appts this week? Thursday, 3/15. I think it's just bloodwork and a normal check in. Boring.

GTKY:+(stolen from earlier) What's the dumbest way you've been injured? When I was 9 I broke my hand playing nerf football with the boys. I was such a flirt even back then, I had to always be playing with the boys. One fell on my hand on top of the nerf ball. I was in a cast for 2 months.
How are you feeling? Kinda weepy this week. And yesterday's blood sugar crash or whatever it was sort of stuck with me throughout the day so I feel tired toda.y
Any appts this week? I had one Tuesday. Boring.
Rants/raves/questions? I am super excited to find out what this baby is. I really don't have intuition with this one like I did with my son.
GTKY:+(stolen from earlier) What's the dumbest way you've been injured? Hahahaha oh, God. I almost lost my finger ziplining in the Dominican on our honeymoon. True story. I have no feeling in my knuckle and it didn't even get infected until we got back to the United States. ETA...pretty much any way I have ever injured myself has been incredibly dumb. I just remembered I fell on a beach chair on the beach when I was suuuuper drunk in Florida and destroyed my leg which I was trying to put my shorts back on (I had to pee really bad). It was like 4 a.m. I also fell off the toilet (drunk) in college and busted my lip almost all the way through. Another drunk story ... I fell in like, a ditch thing when I was mad at my then-fiance for no reason at a party. I try not to get SO drunk now that I am a mom. LOL.
I will also second the bigger faster train. I feel six months pregnant already and I am only 16 weeks.

Morning sickness spells are fewer between, now it's sciatica on my right side and rlp. So fun!

I am the only one who takes our garbage out to the curb Monday mornings. Mind you there are two other grown adults in my house. They have both managed to walk past the garbage can for 5 DAYS without bringing it back up to the house!
It also doesn't help that I am super grumpy the last couple of days!

When we moved into our house I opened the back of our van all Willie Nillie and a huge cutting board fell on it. Had to wear a special boot thing for two months. Not broken but took forever to heal. It doesn't help that I am the kind of person to not sit still.
How many weeks are you/baby's size?
17 weeks! I'm not sure about the baby, but it said my uterus is the size of a cantelope. That made me feel a lot better about looking so huge already.
How are you feeling?
Pretty good! I had a huge wave of hormones on Monday and Tuesday that made me overreact and cry at small things, but it seems to have mostly passed. Physically, I've had a bit of heartburn and my belly is getting pretty awkward, so bending over is uncomfortable.
Any appts this week?
I had my first group appointment on Tuesday. Everything looked good and they found the heartbeat right away, so I got to hear it for the first time. The group seems nice, so I'm curious to see how future appointments go.
Rants/raves/questions?
This was a pretty rough week. My hormone surge coincided with DS getting his 2 year molars, so he was extra cranky and difficult and I was weepy and short tempered. I'm very relieved to have found the weekend.
But I'm getting a haircut today! I've decided I'm sick of long hair, so I think I'm going to cut it pretty short. Now that I've decided it, I'm pretty excited.
GTKY:+(stolen from earlier) What's the dumbest way you've been injured?
I'm not at all a daredevil, but I'm pretty clumsy, so I have constant bumps and bruises. I gave myself a black eye last year when strumbled on the sidewalk and landed on my face. I think the stupidest thing I've done was when I was 9 I got a mini pocket knife, and I wanted to know if it was sharp enough to cut myself. It wasn't very sharp, so I sawed at my thumb for a minute before I did indeed cut myself.
