  • Oh yeah... just the same Godzilla feeling that I had before MS. DH has pretty much stayed clear of me but has went out of his way to clean up the apartment, go grocery shopping and keeping the dog away from me.

  • Afternoon/evening sickness still! I wish everyone wanted to go our for breakfast since dinner is a meal no longer in rotation for me.
  • I am so tired all the time. Luckily I have been able to nap while DD does, so that saves me.
I still kinda want to eat all the things but not as bad as before. Really thirsty though, which does not help the getting up at night to pee thing.
  • I feel SO bloated this Monday. It could be from the cheat day SO and I had is weekend...ehhhh maybe the 2 Of them. But I feel terrible nothing fits me right !

My nausea is gone! But I'm still pretty tired in the evenings. I was really tired after a busy week last week, and my Fitbit tells me I averaged 10 hours 37 minutes of sleep this weekend between nighttime and naps, so I clearly needed some extra rest! I've also noticed my appetite has increased and I am snacking more frequently, and am hungry right before bed which is not normal for me. Last night after a full dinner, I poured a bowl of Grape Nuts with almond milk and it hit.the.spot.
ETA: I also have to pee constantly!

Yes this!!! Always obnoxiously thirsty in the evenings right before bed. Like crazy thirsty. And then peeing all of it all night long

  • I’m getting breaks in the nausea which is amazing. Still pretty tired. Aches and pains have begun, but I’ll take them over nausea any day! Headaches and migraines have been unreal. I get them chronically, but they’ve been esp bad during this pregnancy. Bring on all the massages!

  • My sinuses ---- ugh. Too bad green snot wasn't a commodity. I would be rich. It got so bad this weekend, my ears plugged up and my hearing was muffled. Nausea is a bit better, but definitely feel more tired now. Third pregnancy are not as fun as first ones, that's for sure. My motto lately has been, "I don't remember this with (fill in my kids' names)."
  • Glad some of y’all are getting relief from nausea.

AFM- I’m not sleeping much during the first half of the night and then I sleep really hard later in the morning, so that’s been a problem. I wonder if I take my nighttime diclegis earlier in the evening, like maybe 8pm instead of 11-midnight like I have been, if that would help me sleep better earlier in the night.
On a related note, I finally understand why some couples choose to sleep in separate rooms. DH has been constantly waking me up by elbowing me, making noises in his sleep, and then when he gets up at the crack of dawn he’s dropping shit on the hardwood floors and waking me up. I not-so-jokingly said I was buying him a tiny rug for his side of the bed so that when he drops his watch or phone in the morning, it doesn’t jolt me awake when I’m finally getting good sleep.

  • @jhjocelyn Yup, I eat dinner at 4pm. I'm super hungry then and almost everything sounds decent. By 6pm it's just fruit. Hopefully the earlier dinner time works for you!

I guess my nausea is better. I haven't dry heaved in a couple of days! I still need to take the B6 + unisom though. Learned that the hard way. Whoops! Getting slightly more energy which is nice. We're able to run errands and clean a bit before I need a rest.

H noticed that my hair is getting nicer! Pretty excited about that symptom!
  • @SkilledSailor My nausea comes and goes, but is less intense now. It's more like a nagging hungry feeling so I eat and it subsides a bit. I've also noticed my hair is nicer! It's smoother and shinier. I can wash it EOD and it's not super greasy. We'll see if that holds up in the summer.

  • @sarahlynn72181 I started coming down with a sinus thing Friday and Flonase sensimist has been helping. The doctor also recommended Benadryl but I'm already way too sleepy and don't want to take it.
  • My nausea is pretty much gone (knock on wood), but I'm finding I'm getting really hungry at times and need to eat RIGHT that second or else. A little increase in heart burn. Lots of belching. Will be keeping an eye on my heartburn and ask about prilosec if I need it.
  • @eerin86 Thanks for the recommendation. I've been using some saline nasal spray, a humidifier, Tylenol, etc., and it got better for a few days, then way way worse. I'm on amoxicillin now (day 3) and I took Benedryl last night. Fingers crossed for both of us. This is the worst I've ever gotten a sinus infection.
  • @fwtx5815 try taking your Diclegis earlier. I usually take mine around 8 and I am sleeping great from 11:30 until I get up at 7:30 or 8 in the morning.

I’ll try that tonight! FX it does the trick. I’m a total zombie in the morning the last several weeks

my nausea has really improved - I can't complain.

I am so hungry (what a change) and need something to eat every 2-3 hours.  if I get too hungry (like today when we couldn't find a restaurant open at dinner and we were being treated by friends) and then eat a big meal because I am so hungry, my belly blows up and I have a shocking amount of bloating. huge.

also - so thirsty. which means i drink constantly and pee all.of.the.time. like 3-5 times a night.
  • @sclarke7 don’t let dh of the hook! If he cooks have him make the food anyways so you can eat it at the next day’s lunch!

  • I feel kind of crazy for saying this at 12+2, but I think I felt a couple flutters this morning?! Maybe it was just a spasm, but it came out of nowhere and I'll attribute it to baby liking some Meghan Trainor (even if s/he can't hear yet) ❤.
  • @nlc8424 I have played "Gas or Baby?" a few times. Twice it was definitely gas, as evidenced by what followed. Another two times, I was undecided.

AFM, RLP hasn't been a huge thing yet, but now I have a cold, and the sneezing sucks.

  • My major symptom right now is my lack of appetite. I'm always starving for breakfast and get moderately hungry for lunch but I can't force dinner down and haven't been snacking every 2-3 hours like I was in first tri. I can't be the only one!

  • @cbobell2009 You're not the only one! Now that my nausea is getting better and I don't need to eat every 1-2 hours, I'm barely eating. I know that second tri is when we're suppose to start eating a couple hundred extra calories a day but right now I don't know how I'll do that.

My headaches are out of control! Over the last two days, I’ve had a HA more than I haven’t. I can handle a lot of the pregnancy symptoms, but this one is new and totally not fun!

im also maybe possibly feeling Baby move...but it may also be gas. A few times I’ve been pretty sure though! My boobs are also tender - which didn’t happen with either other pregnancy. They almost feel like they did when I needed to nurse, weird! I’m also totally outgrown my bras, which is unfortunate since my girls are already gigantic and I don’t have a Nordstrom near me anymore.

  • I’m still absolutely exhausted all day. Last time around I could come home from work and take a nap, not possible with a toddler. I’ve also been pretty nauseous lately, which I didn’t have last time
  • The heartburn has started. I'm thinking bbq at lunch and spaghetti sauce at dinner are the culprits. This kid better have amazing hair and not lose it all!
  • @Patience7150 Heartburn is no fun! W DD I had it awful, the ultrasound tech giggles at one of our last ultrasounds(we had extra due to the cf risk) because the hair was all over her... and could be seen floating around. I was petrified I was going to give birth to a monkey! ...Turned out fine, she was kinda hairy but it was fine and light colored and not noticeable.  :D

  • Lol @jhjocelyn!! That's funny! I had semi bad heartburn with DD. We could see hair in the 4D photo kind of, but it wasn't giggle worthy! She was born with a fair amount of hair, lost it all, and was bald until 8ish months! It definitely didn't start at 13/14 weeks tho!
  • cbobell2009  I am always STARVING in the morning. Kinda hungry for dinner. But not hungry for supper.
  • I have had heartburn this entire time... ugh... and now I'm definitely starving!  I woke up early with no DH in the bed, checked the time, took my pill, but I still have to wait 40 more minutes before I can eat!!!  :s. That English muffin won't even know what hit it!
  • I am 14 weeks and 3 days and I am still nauseous and throwing up. I've also started having discharge. It freaks me out cuz it's the same feeling like when I'm starting my period . It always makes me run to the bathroom and check.
  • I have not been able to keep any food or drink down since yesterday afternoon. None of the nausea meds are helping at all. Well, if they are I hate to think how sick I would be without them. Going to call the dr this morning to see at what point I should worry about the vomiting.
  • The attack of the round ligament pain has begun. I need to remember to move sloooowly like a sloth.
