TTC after 35

New here :) TW losses

Hello!

I have been lurking on this board and have finally decided to join.  I post on some other boards too, but since I'm 40, this seems like a good place for me.  My husband and I have been TTC since last fall.  I had a early loss in November, and a MMC with D&C last month.  That was really hard, but my AF finally came back and now I'm anxiously WTO.  We have a referral to a fertility clinic, but our intro appointment isn't until April, so that feels far away.  I look forward to chatting with you ladies :)

@bakerstreetboys Welcome! So Sorry to hear about you losses. We had to wait a few weeks for our initial appointment with the RE too but as soon as the testing was over we went right into treatment. We started our journey Oct 27th , had MFI and I had septate uterus(that i had surgery on 1/22 and is now gone!), we did our ER on 12/29 and have 5 pgs normal embryos waiting for us come April.

@ndz2018 That's great, fingers crossed for you!  It's a 2.5 month wait for our initial appointment, and then 6 weeks for results of testing :(  Treatment would be who knows how long after that.  Our wait times are much longer than they used to be because my province now covers IVF; it's great financially, but not so awesome for wait times!

Hi there! I'm so sorry to hear about your losses but I know that these boards can help you gain insight and even help in the healing process. I found it helpful to share my story, gain support from the other ladies and then give support to new women experiencing a loss. I hope you find peace and wish you the best of luck on your journey! Sorry about the long wait, wish there was a way to speed things up! But, I'm finding that this process is a lot of "hurry up & wait". GL!
