I also was perusing the spreadsheet the other day and the intro thread and some regulars just sort of fell off the board! If you're lurking, I hope everything is going well
@LaceyBee522 I also really struggled with wanting to buy maternity clothes. Buying clothes isn't fun for me and I was worried I would just look extra big in maternity stuff. I went to motherhood and granted had to get xl for everything, but I was really pleased with how I looked. I actually found the form fitting stuff to be more flattering. It's like I can show off my belly instead of hiding it for the first time ever and it was really empowering.

@Amphibious22 I feel the same. Not pregnant, my stomach is flabby. Pregnant, my stomach is firm and the form fitting clothes are more flattering (IMO).
+1 to wondering where some people went. I wonder if they'll pop back up as it gets closer to our due dates / MOTN threads post-baby. On DS's BMB, I participated at the beginning and towards the end, but was so busy during the middle months that I mainly lurked.
@llamamama14 I wish things were shut down here. I have a semi-interview today at noon across town and I'm dreading getting there. I work on the water and it is miserable down here.
On my last BMB I was active in the beginning and then silent for a few months in the middle when I was going through stuff after the anatomy scan and finding DS2's heart defect. I jumped back in (hesitantly) shortly after starting 3rd tri. We may have some people resurface as we get closer to birth. Life happens.
First Son - born 2013
Second Son - born 2014 - Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS) and Double Outlet Right Ventricle (DORV). First open heart surgery at 5 days old. He's had 3 open heart surgeries and several other procedures and is currently doing amazing. Third Son - due June 9, 2018
So today is 99 days from my due date. Yay for being under 100! Granted, I've never made it past 38 weeks, but who knows, maybe this time will be different.

@llamamama14 The weather in NY is bananas today. It is raining, snowing, and sleeting all at once - and it is doing it sideways. The wind hasn't picked up yet, but we're supposed to get 60+ mph starting this afternoon. It is especially exciting with all the cranes and scaffolding...sort of like the game "Frogger," but real life. Lol!
We had some flurries this a.m. Our highest wind gust so far was 28 mph. (We have a digital weather station.) So far no power outage though the lights have flickered. I'm kind of enjoying watching the readings each time I hear a howl though I don't want to lose power...
DS was breech until almost 35 weeks when we had an external version done. So from about this point on, I was constantly trying to push his head out from where he liked to lodge it under my right rib cage. SO uncomfortable
My kid likes to hang out transverse. The first one did too. I think it’s because my torso is so short? Occasionally though I get what seems to be a butt all scooted up and pushing up on my rib cage, usually if I rub on it for a little bit I can get her to shift. Ouch.
I have an exceptionally long torso with really short arms and legs - I'm a potato! Anyway, my babies never find my ribs. They love my left side though, wiggly little hands on my left hip bone, lots of bladder smashing, hiccups in my butt. The last is by far the weirdest and it's been all week. It feels just like being pregnant with DS now. Not sure what they have against the right side.
@Austenista Loling so hard. I can't stop picturing you as a potato, now.
Also, super weird thing about twins is that they aren't always awake at the same time. There are times when A is just drumming away on my cervix and I haven't felt B in awhile and will panic. B seems to be my morning baby, though and A is the night owl. They both seem to get active right after I eat.
Silly danced and sang with DS for 2 songs this evening. Felt out of breath for 20 mins after. Then after dinner, cleaning up toys felt like a workout. Followed that all up with giving him his bath cause dh got home late and had to eat still. Now? My legs are all so tired. This part of pregnancy is oh so hard to get used to.

Oof. I take back the wind being exciting. Our neighbors across the street had a huge piece of tree crash through their roof and into their second floor. So scary. The family was home but are all safe. The damage is severe. We are sleeping on our main floor tonight instead of upstairs. Our power just came back on after 6 hours which is sooner than we'd hoped. Most of our neighborhood including grocery stores is still out.
@llamamama14 OMG, that is so scary! I’m glad your neighbors are safe. I hope your power stays on and all is well through the night.
@stephcat421 I can only tell which is kicking/moving when it is on a specific side. A is always on the right now and B is always in the left. When I feel it under my belly button, it could be either. They sometimes like to pile up in the center (one in front and one behind), then my belly turns into this really weird cone shape (think Madonna bra, but only one and under your belly button).

Anyone else impacted by this wind storm? Schools and government shut down here.
