Twin mom check in

Hey ladies, I wanted to check in with other twin mommas about how you’re doing.

Weeks pregnant/twin type if you want to share

How is are you feeling about expecting twins at this point?

Any new symptoms?

Biggest surprises about having twins?

Are you you getting the support you need from others?

Re: Twin mom check in

  • I’m 18.5 weeks pregnant with mono-di twins
I’m feeling so overwhelmed about having twins honestly still.
    Back pain and exhaustion remain.
the amount of appointments is still surprising though it’s nice to be well cared for. Today during a check up we could hear both babies heartbeats at the same time which was very cool!
dh is so supportive and strong. Our family is overly excited and can be overbearing at times. People like to say things like ‘just you wait’ or laugh about us being busy which gets old.

Looking forward to to hearing from you!
  • Hello,
My name is Ariana and I am 16 weeks with di/di twins. I am very excited to get to experience something that not many do. That being said I do get overwhelmed when in a more nervous state of mind. This pregnancy has been much more intense than my first. I can never get enough sleep and my stomach is easily unsettled. Most of my diet consists of raw fruit and veggies with almond milk shakes. My back pain is getting more intense and to be honest I am scared of growing big enough to house two! I made the mistake of googling full term twin pregnancy haha!
I do have to admit that regardless of all the not so great things that I have experienced and my fears of the future the fact that my body is growing two babies makes me feel so strong!

  • @acraftofmyown it’s so positive to think of all our bodies are able to do right now! I have a lot of back pain too and an afraid of being huge too
  • I'm 20w2d with Mo-Di girl twins. These are my 4th and 5th babies!

How are you feeling about expecting twins at this point? I'm excited. Trying to prepare mentally for the loss of sleep.

Any new symptoms? Slight swelling, lots of Braxton hicks, nose bleeds....ahh glorious pregnancy

Biggest surprises about having twins?  Just the fact that we are having them! Crazy!

Are you you getting the support you need from others? We have a lot of family support.
  • @bradybunchmom89 lovely that you have family support! That sucks you’re having Braxton Hicks already, I’m trying to prepare for lack of sleep with lots of napping now lol
