@redheadbride15 I had pregnancy induced hypertension last time too, along with my son had iugr. How is your blood pressure this time? Mine didn't set in until third tri last time so fx it either stays away totally or waits until then again. Bed rest with a toddler will not be very possible
My BP is fine so far. I invested in a home cuff so I can watch it... 117/72 this morning (I may be a little OCD about checking every day...) In my last pregnancy it also started third trimester, but my son was much more IUGR than would have been expected from when the high BP started. I delivered at 37 weeks and he was 5lbs. I’m taking baby aspirin this time which is supposed to help... it feels good to be proactive about something, though I’m fairly sure my fate will be similar this time around (hopefully not worse...) Bed rest with a toddler AND a full time job won’t go over well with me either! Wishing you the best.

  • @redheadbride15 my son was just a hair over 5lbs at 39 weeks, but with his medical conditions and his very poor umbilical cord it was understandable. My hypertension definitely didn't help anything.  I'm trying to be optimistic this time around

  • @meeks2020 looking forward to keeping in touch :)
