@cford08 It was cold for most of my first pregnancy, but by the end of April, it was warming up. I ended up buying a couple of pairs of maternity shorts and short sleeve maternity shirts from Target even though I hated spending the money since I was due in May. Turns out it was a good idea, because I was able to wear those shorts and t-shirts postpartum while waiting for my body to start dropping the weight.

@cford08 Girl I hear you! I have the same problem (Baton Rouge)! It went from winter to spring in two seconds! I don't know why I'm surprised - it happens every year!

@cford08 @muggle621 I imagine it's gross being pregnant and big in hot weather, though I will openly envy your ability to wear slip-on or flip-flop shoes. Pulling snow boots on with bump is one of the bigger struggles of my morning!

@ all you ladies growing out of your clothes, I empathize.  I have finally found a use for all of these ugly, oversized NASCAR shirts my husband keeps buying me.  It's super classy when the bottom of my belly shows from below.

Had my 37 week appointment today.  1 to 2cm dilated, so the cerclage that is left in probably isn't keeping things from progressing.  I also thought she had dropped, but he still said still high.

Edit to correct stuff.  Definitely didn't mean to say stuff still high.

Dr. just came in! They’re going to break my water and start petocin! Baby movement is minimal so that’s why he’s doing that. I’m 39 weeks 3 days and he doesn’t want me to go much longer. I’m fine with it! Let’s go!!

Well lol pitocin has been started! Just realized I have been spelling it wrong haha! Contractions hurt!!! I’m just keeping focus because I want to hold my baby girl!!!

@muggle621 having it broken is super weird. I have had I done twice. There’s like a plastic crochet hook and they stick it up there and all of a sudden water everywhere then every time you move- which that part would be like if it broke naturally I assume.
@crossfitbabybump praying for you- pitocin is serious stuff

I am dying of hip pain and swear that it is going to fall out of its joint. DH adjusted me this morning and it felt better for a bit but as he said there is a head pushing it out of place it’s pribably not going to get better until the head comes out.

@muggle621 yes what @megpeg said! It was kinda painful at first and then a rush of warm liquid and it was over! Now when I have contractions, I feel more come out but it drips! This pitocin is real shit! Holy ouch!

@DDRRT1982 Pleeeeeeeaaaase tell me that you are going around with your stomach hanging out the bottom of the NASCAR shirts. I mean, the NASCAR dudes do it all the time so... I like a little NASCAR here and there but seriously, why does MH have to be into the sport with the longest season of all of them? That just ended 15 minutes ago! Just got my epidural! 4 cm now and they’re still administering pitocin. Feeling much better now with the epidural that’s for sure!

8 cm!! Dr wants me to rest and will check again in a few hours. I’m exhausted already so gonna nap and hopefully push her out soon!

Now that the dust has settled, gotta let you ladies know it's on in my life over here. Went to my 38 week appointment Monday. 3+ protein in my urine, 150/90s bps and swelling that developed this weekend impressed my doctor enough to admit me. In addition to my funky cervix (OB's words) and her possibly being out of town this weekend. Didn't find that tidbit out until I got back to the hospital 

We have been entertaining/annoying the staff with my huge family lol The last ppl to leave stepped out of here at 0100  I've been on Cervidil and chill orders since 7p, so we'll see how quickly this all progresses. Now to nap, apparently I'm having a baby today!!
