14 weeks - baby is a peach!

How are you feeling?
Maybe a tiny bit better, but joining the headache club.  I thought I was getting sick, but now I think maybe it's just pregnancy headaches.  I didn't get these with DD so this is a fun new symptom for me.

Any appts this week?
Nada this week.

I need to start working out again.  The end.

DH and I are going to lunch today!  He works from home, but he's always super busy so we can never meet up for lunch so this will be a nice treat.  I also wore my fancy new red shirt.  Will try to get a pic for HDBD later, when I can sneak my phone into the bathroom without looking like a weirdo.

A little better. I ran out of diclegis the other day and debating on a refill since I’m more nausea free than before. 

Any appts this week?
Meeting a new midwife on Friday morning for my 14 week check up. I hope I like her.

Due the timing of my due date, I have to back out of an important commitment I made for the fall and I’m super bummed. And dreading making the call. Ugh.

I’m taking DS out to lunch at his favorite place and making some heart Rice Krispie treats this afternoon. I’m on the planning committee for a community event in the summer and we have a planning meeting tonight. Lol, so romantic!

@ladygali I literally looked at the Rice Krispies cereal and thought about making treats when I went grocery shopping, but it required me to go back and get the marshmallows so I decided not to do it.  I really leveled up in laziness this week.

@juliebird6 lol, I have both the cereal and marshmallows on my list. And I have heart shaped marshmallows from Aldi I’m trying to figure out how to incorporate. But I hear you, I’ve definitely done that!

Rice Krispy Treats sound amazing right now.  @ladygali - I totally get the horrible feeling with not being able to participate in a big event. I was planning to go to a huge conference in late May in San Diego (I've never been to California), and now I am going to have to pass on it.  I cried about it even.

How are you feeling?
Feeling okay, still some bleeding going on and they don't know why.  I'm tired but am not sure if it is pregnancy related or toddler related.

None this week, next appt is 2/27

Corndogs from Sonics are the yummiest things on the planet right now. I don't eat them often, but they really hit the spot. There's a rave for you!  Also, there is a consignment sale going on the next week nearby so I hope to go and get some great deals on baby gear.

Husband is making some sort of steak and we are going to catch up on our EastEnders and Coronation Street.

How are you feeling?
I've been getting more and more nauseated since I hit the 2nd tri. It's lovely.

Had one this morning, finally drew blood for the NIPT.

We're ordering a heart-shaped pizza for dinner because our favorite local pizza place is doing that today lol. I took DS to a cool train museum this morning after my doctor's appointment and we rode a miniature train. His birthday party is there this weekend on an actual train car, so I was just checking it out a little bit more before the party. Looking forward to it!

How many weeks are you/baby's size? 16 weeks, length of a pickle

How are you feeling? Not bad overall! Wishing I was feeling more consistent movement. Boobs are quite sore in a way that feels like they are full and need a baby to nurse which seems early. I'm sure they don't actually have milk but it is weird to have that feeling and not have a little nursling to throw on there lol.

Any appts this week? Nope, not again until early March, which kind of sucks. Wish I had borrowed my friend's Doppler for reassurance when I went to her house the other night but I forgot.

Rants/raves/questions? Ooh last night I felt like I had one. Now I of course can't remember. Story of my life.

No I didn't but I should do so in randoms! So unfortunately I didn't realize I missed the cut off for ordering the physical box by one day so we will get that next month. Instead I signed us up for an ongoing digital subscription one that's much cheaper where it sends you things to do by e-mail, but same idea. So last night's was to make chocolate fondue, put love-themed temporary tattoos on each other, do a wedding vows mad libs, right each other a love letter, and there was a Spotify playlist for the occasion that we had access to, plus some V-day facts. Anyway I liked that we did something different, like there is no other Wednesday I would make chocolate fondue and put on a nice playlist instead of just watching TV, so I will definitely keep it up. Excited to try the physical box next month too but I think we will just do digital going forward after that
