We had our NT scan today and everything went well! The fluid in the neck was minimal and I even got to see the little one’s fingers on one hand! It kept jumping like a bean so the tech had a hard time getting the heart rate measurement (and I forgot to ask) but we have another appt. with my OB next week and I think she’ll use the doppler then. Last time I had bleeding at 12 weeks due to a low lying placenta so I was happy to see that’s not the case this time, even though I have an anterior placenta which means I won’t feel kicks as soon. Now DH and I can enjoy our late bday celebration tonight!
@yosemite2018 glad the NT scan went well today and that you don’t have low lying placenta again. A little jumping bean!! Maybe it will be so active you will feel it sooner than you think.
Have an appointment today for an ultrasound of my kidneys. At my first OB appt, Jan 2, it was found that I have a pelvic kidney.. instead of the right kidney being where it should be, it is in the pelvic region and baby could potentially cause me to have a stent put in, in the later weeks. They are just seeing if I have anything else wrong with my kidneys today. Apparently, this is something that you are born with and I never had an ultrasound before the OB appt or it would have been caught. It has never caused any issues before this.
