  • How many weeks are you/baby's size?  13 weeks; baby is measuring ahead of schedule so its likely the size of a peach.

How are you feeling? Good! I can't believe this is the final week of first tri.  Most of the typical first tri symptoms are already gone.

Any appts this week? No but anxiously waiting for Mat21 results in the next couple of weeks including the sex of the baby.

Rants/raves/questions? We told my husband's family this weekend.  His brother, SIL and their 3 kids came up to visit and we got to announce to them and then called his mother and her SO and told her.  Everyone was really excited.  I love the new wave of excitement sharing with everybody now.

GTKY: What did you do this weekend? Or if you prefer, what is your favorite weekend activity?  H's birthday is tomorrow so we had a big fun dinner with family and friends.  It was exhausting but so fun.

    15 weeks - navel orange

    How are you feeling?
Some days I feel great! Other days I wake up to dry heave in the toilet. Hopefully that stops soon.

    Any appts this week?
    none for a while

    Rants/raves/questions?
I can’t stop eating the cupcakes we made for Valentine’s Day. Like I could really use some self control!

GTKY: What did you do this weekend? Or if you prefer, what is your favorite weekend activity?
We hung around the house a lot, dh had lasik at the end of the week so we were taking it easy. My favorite weekend activities are farmers markets or stuff like that!
  • ow many weeks are you/baby's size?
     15 weeks, orange.
    How are you feeling?
Good. Except for the headache from my rant.
    Any appts this week?
Not for awhile. I technically need to go back to the MFM to get the cerclage checked, but I literally don't have anymore days I can take, and I really don't want 6 hours in the car one day. ugh.
    Rants/raves/questions?
People are idiots when driving on/in the first snow of the season. I watched some dumb, early 20s, kid about run into the back of a semi (trailer-less) then over compensated, about ran into the ditch on both sides of the road, and managed to put an on-coming pickup into the ditch. No-one was hurt or even made contact with anything, but DAMN kid pay attention. I think I'm super grouchy about it, as I still had both the kids in the car on the way to daycare. If something had happened to my car, life as that kid knew it would have ended.
GTKY: What did you do this weekend? Or if you prefer, what is your favorite weekend activity?
We checked out payments, insurance, est. gas milage for this Tahoe we are seriously looking at.  It sucked.

Favorite activity is to take a nice slow trail ride and camp out overnight. Then go fishing/hunting and ride back. Best weekends with my horse.

How are you feeling? Okay. Went three days without getting sick but it hit me again last night.

Any appts this week? We had one today. We got to hear the heart beat for the first time and we got to see the little bean moving around.

  • How many weeks are you/baby's size?
15 weeks! 4 inches, size of apple or orange, or, according to TB, a magic 8 ball, which is much larger than either of those things. I think they may mean a regular 8 ball?

    How are you feeling?
I've been feeling much better except for the awful headache and nausea that hit Sat evening and lasted most of Sunday. I'm hoping that was a freak occurrence, and not going to become a trend.

    Any appts this week?
I have one today in an hour and a half. I think just a doppler and "bye."

    Rants/raves/questions?
Mostly the second tri has been better, but no magical shift has happened, I still feel pregnant, gassy, light nausea, intermittent (but not constant!) headaches, fatigue, and I have a ton of acne. I can't say I'm enjoying pregnancy so far, but it isn't as bad as it could be.

GTKY: What did you do this weekend? Or if you prefer, what is your favorite weekend activity?
This weekend was lame. My car was in the shop, and then I felt crappy once I had it back, so I really didn't leave the house other than to go to the grocery store and buy a stroller/car seat combo. I mostly watched the Olympics and took lots of naps.

On a better weekend I'd have derby practice Sat. afternoon, a derby bout on Saturday evening, junior's practice Sunday, and try to get grocery shopping and laundry done. DH and I usually try to have a date eating out somewhere together on Sundays after grocery shopping. Skating and derby usually pretty well fills my weekends. Even since pregnancy I have shifted to being a referee/coach so I can stay involved while I can't compete. My Dr has cleared me to continue skating, so long as I avoid contact and the skate park  :)

Rants/raves/questions? I started feeling the baby move (3rd baby) and I'm so excited about it! It's my favorite feeling!

GTKY: What did you do this weekend? Or if you prefer, what is your favorite weekend activity? We did an escape room with friends and went to dinner after.  Such a blast!

  • How many weeks are you/baby's size?  13 weeks

How are you feeling? Sick ugh

    Any appts this week? No

Rants/raves/questions? I hate being pregnant. I wish I could enjoy it more.

GTKY: What did you do this weekend? Or if you prefer, what is your favorite weekend activity? DH and I went to dinner and saw jumanji. It was hilarious.

    Pregnancy Ticker
  • How many weeks are you/baby's size?  13 weeks

How are you feeling? Still sick
  • How many weeks are you/baby's size?
13 weeks. Size of a lemon, matchbox car, and clownfish

    How are you feeling?
Pretty good overall. Some tightening in my stomach here and there but nothing too bad.

    Any appts this week?
    None this week.

    Rants/raves/questions?
Since I got pregnant, the hair on my legs and my underarms has been growing so fast! I can't, and don't want to, keep up with the shaving. I heard this means boy, but who knows.

GTKY: What did you do this weekend? Or if you prefer, what is your favorite weekend activity?
My favorite weekend activity is seeing my family, going out for dinner, relaxing with DH. This weekend we are going to Ireland, so that should be fun!
  • Sorry, I'm late to the party.
How many weeks are you/baby's size?

14 weeks - size of a troll doll
    How are you feeling?
Pretty good. I've had intermittent spotting the last few days, and my food aversions are still hanging around, but the nausea is mostly gone. I have had headaches every day since last Wednesday, so I hope this isn't a pattern for how the rest of 2nd tri is going to go...
    Any appts this week?
I have an appointment next week. I had an ultrasound today to check my previously-diagnosed SCH. That has resolved! It looks like there's a small area where the placenta is attached to the uterine wall that could be causing the spotting, but all good other than that! I am officially off pelvic rest, and I can start working out 'vigorously' again, but my doctor wants me to take it really gradually.
    Rants/raves/questions?
I just broke down and had Jimmy John's. I've also eaten McDonald's for 3 meals between yesterday and today. I'm so ashamed, but it was sooooooo good!
GTKY: What did you do this weekend? Or if you prefer, what is your favorite weekend activity?
We relaxed this weekend - we all needed to catch up on sleep. Typically, during the winter, we spend Saturdays with friends/family, then church on Sunday morning and grocery shopping and dinner out (usually sushi) on Sunday evening. During the spring/summer/fall, we spend as much time outside as possible. We live on a small lake, so there's always family showing up to swim/tube/ski/wakeboard. We also have a really cool trail system in our area for biking/running, along with a number of state parks. DS loves being outside, so MN winters are tough on him.
