How many weeks are you/baby's size? 13 weeks, size of a lemon!

How are you feeling? I'm okay. I still seem to be pretty dependent on Diclegis, which sucks, but at least I am getting a little more sleep with it. The worst is the constant hangover feeling if I don't take it. Don't really feel that way if I do take it. 

Any appts this week? Yes, I had one on Wednesday. Standard "listen to the heartbeat" and make sure everything else is going well appointment. 

Rants/raves/questions? My boobs hurt a lot more this week and my ute feels tender. I probably need to stop carrying my 35-lb son. Lol. 

GTKY: What's your favorite thing to do on the weekend? I tend to be a homebody (as in, I don't want to see anyone) but I do enjoy getting out to go shopping by myself for a few hours if I can get away with it. Sitting at home too much makes me anxious! So I guess I am an extroverted introvert. Hahaha.

How are you feeling? I'm totally fine.

Any appts this week?  I have my next appt Monday, always feels good to hear that little heartbeat and know everything is ok. 

Rants/raves/questions?  Getting dressed is complicated these days!  I feel like even when I plan out my outfit the night before I end up not being comfortable in the morning when I put it on.  I'm officially in the maternity pants for the most part, but still trying to wear normal shirts. 

GTKY: What's your favorite thing to do on the weekend? The weekends are all about spending time with DS- parks, walks, taking him to play with friends.  I need to clean my house this weekend though...boo...

How many weeks are you/baby's size? 13 weeks today! Baby is the size of a scoop of ice cream but...probably not the scoops I make 

How are you feeling? I've had a cold for what feels like my entire pregnancy and I'm so tired of it. I'm finally feeling a little bit better today so hopefully I'm on the mend. Also, sciatica sucks. I'll probably complain about this every week. 

Any appts this week? Ugh no. I don't see the OB again until 2/26 but I switched OBs so I'm excited to meet her. I wasn't feelin it at all with my last one. 

Rants/raves/questions? I honestly don't have any this week! Except for I hate the DMV and everything about it. 

GTKY: What's your favorite thing to do on the weekend? Living in California means lots of time outside! We go hiking at least once every weekend and usually either a beach day or another hiking day. It's a great way to get the energy out of my insane children.

How many weeks are you/baby's size? 13 weeks - L'Oreal True Match Powder

How are you feeling? Better! The nausea comes in little waves now, but the insomnia has kicked up a notch so I'm tired all. the. time. The skin on my stomach and lower back started itching this week so it's belly butter time! I used like 3 jars of the stuff last pregnancy.

Any appts this week? None this week. My diabetes counselor called and they're upping my dosage again. It's good in the long run for better control but short-term I get some crashes so it's kind of a pain.

Rants/raves/questions? Nope!

GTKY: What's your favorite thing to do on the weekend? Right now nothing lol! But I think the weather is supposed to be crappy again here this weekend and I was reeeeealy hoping that I could get DS out of the house for a bit. I'm running out of indoor activities that keep a high-energy kid occupied!

@Firemanswife11 - I love the extroverted introvert description! I am too actually. Like I love just hanging at home but then I want to go do all the things but then after a bit I'm like ok, ready to go home lol!
@livinthesunnylife - same with the mat. pants but wearing normal shirts. My boobs have made it so my normal shirts are just slightly shorter but sometimes that will show the band on the mat. pants. So I got a bunch of longer layering tanks from Old Navy that I don't mind stretching to bits to help bridge the gap

How are you feeling? Other than my sciatica killing me by the end of the day I feel pretty good! 

Any appts this week? I had one yesterday. Heard the heartbeat which was amazing! They tried to draw blood for first tir screening and NIPT but had no luck so I have to go to Quest. 

Rants/raves/questions?  None that I can think of. @livingthesunnylife I am pretty much out of regular clothes. I am going shopping this weekend because I am running out of things that look good and are comfortable.  

GTKY: What's your favorite thing to do on the weekend? I like getting my house clean and just hanging in. I enjoy just relaxing on the couch and reading or watching tv. DH and I plan on making some homemade pasta and some other goodies tomorrow so that exciting lol.

How are you feeling?
Im getting better every week as far as the nausea goes. Starting to feel eat more foods and vomiting less. Back pain has been kicking in lately. 

Any appts this week?
I'm having a pregnancy brain moment and have no idea when my next appointment is.

Rants/raves/questions?
Rant- I have a hearing scheduled on Valentine's day to battle my former employer of almost 9 years for unemployment. Nervous because I need to remain calm, factual and unemotional about everything which will be hard for me especially with PG hormones. I've been having dreams about me just blowing up and going off on my former boss, need to refrain from that.
Rave- my nueropathy Is getting much better!
GTKY: What's your favorite thing to do on the weekend? 
Currently a SAHM so not much changes besides church on Sunday and LO going to her Nana's for a while and I catch up on cleaning, cooking and laundry. Aka laying in my bed bumping.

@brzvice If you want help with that, I've probably done 100+ of those stupid hearings.  The good news is the burden is usually on the employer- sort of guilty until proven innocent type thing.

@livinthesunnylife it is a hearing over the phone which seems strange to me? But also glad I don't have to see my bosses face. I do have a lawyer to represent me and have seen my file which is totally in my favor. I guess I'm just mad it got to this point and I wasn't approved immediately.

@brzvice I think they are always over the phone?  Just to expedite the process.  You have a lawyer?  Wow, there must be more than just unemployment benefits involved?  Sorry you're going through that

Meh. Ate way too much garlic last night so I had heartburn and nausea all morning.

My NT scan is on Monday. I'm super nervous and anxious to see baby.

DH took me to see 'Beautiful' last night, and it was amazing. But now I'm so frigging tired. 
GTKY: What's your favorite thing to do on the weekend? 
Sleep. I'm so exhausted by the end of the week, all I want to do is sleep. I also like to read but I've had no time.

@livinthesunnylife I think I'm just used to tv legal cases and didn't even know a phone hearing was a thing. I've never had to use the legal system before so am a newb. My grandfather in law has a lawyer on retainer and he volunteered to help me file my appeal and will be present for the phone hearing. Nothing other then my unemployment benefits being contested. It is  probably  Overkill but I'm happy to have the guidance.

@brzvice I've sat in on probably dozens of these phone hearings in my last position. As the employer we never terminated anyone without having all of the documentation we needed so we knew we would win a case. It sounds like with your employer that may not have been the case. As long as you are prepared for the hearing, which having a lawyer it sounds like you are, you should be golden. In my experience the state tends to side with the person and not the employer unless there is solid proof the employee was let go because of clear cut policy violations.

Starting to feel a little better but still pretty nauseous.

Any appts this week?
Just did our Harmony testing yesterday. Have to do a 24 hour urine collection and back for labs on Monday. Then high risk doctor on Wednesday along with an ultrasound and a follow up with my nutritionist. Busy week!

Rants/raves/questions?
Hubby told me that I was eating a lot of junk yesterday. He was almost stabbed in the throat. He knows better lol.

GTKY: What's your favorite thing to do on the weekend?  
Spend time with the family and get out of the house! This weekend the hubs and I are doing a couples painting class on Sunday.

Aiight ladies I’m crashing the party, @calimom2524 said I could so blame her. Plus a bunch of you I see turn 13 weeks today and I was 13 weeks yesterday so I feel like I’m a good fit! 

I feel good.

had my NT scan on Tuesday and it went well. Still have to do the second round of blood tests though. 

Rave: we’re getting our kitchen remodelled a bit.
Rant: I haven’t been able to cook there all week.

Weekend? Used to be to go drinking and have fun like that.
Now I love getting out of the house and doing things as a family!

Sigh, I've been in maternity pants since 8 weeks or so.  All my regular pants got uncomfortable, but all the maternity pants are a bit too big.  So then all my regular shirts are too short to meet the top of my sagging pants.  So I'm in maternity shirts, too.  Of course, right now I have only three pairs of pants and about five shirts.  So I just try not to think about getting dressed and put on whatever's cleanest.

How many weeks are you/baby's size? 
13 weeks!  The bump says a daisy.

How are you feeling?
Eh.  I'm starting to have some good days mixed in, so I think the end might be in sight.  I actually got to eat a normalish size dinner a couple of days this week.  But I think I over-ate again today, so we're not there yet.

Any appts this week?
Nope. I don't have another one until March.

Rants/raves/questions?
Holy cow, this board has been busy today.  I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed.

GTKY: What's your favorite thing to do on the weekend? 
I used to just like to hang out at home, but now it's easier to entertain DD if we get out and do things.  We have a membership to the zoo and children's museum, so we go every couple of weeks.

How are you feeling?
Made it one week without an nausea so that’s a huge plus. 

Any appts this week?
Yesterday. It was nerve wrecking to say the least. Thankfully I have a wonderful doctor who I have formed a good relationship with over the last 5 years. 
The nurse kept getting high blood pressure reads because she couldn’t get the cuff tight enough around my arm. Then my doctor couldn’t get the heartbeat on the Doppler so they pulled out the ultrasound machine. Thankfully everything was fine and we have a heartbeat of 154.

GTKY: What's your favorite thing to do on the weekend? 
Depends. Lately it has been hanging out with my mom on Saturdays and on Sundays we go to the fire station with my husband and let our son run around for the afternoon and play on the fire trucks.
