I don't think we've discussed this one... but I think this is a usual thread and fun! If anyone hates, we can of course reconsider. Anyone have an unpopular opinion?!
I don’t get the obsession with Harry Potter. Maybe I’m old, maybe I haven’t given it a fair chance (I’ve only seen the first movie) but I have zero interest in it at all.
I don't like the ultrasound thread. I totally get why we have one (and why my previous bmb had one too) but I just like the AW the crap out of my u/s pics.

@lisa3379 - totally a slytherin.... (i'm just teasing, there is a girl at work who thinks they're overrated and we joke about it. It's not for everyone!)
@Lisa3379 If it's any consolation... I don't like the hp movies either ... but I am obsessed with the books and binge read all of them for the first time when I was 36 yrs old.
This might be dating me (and might also be a regional thang?), but I hate Dave Matthews. I didn't get the appeal in highschool/college and I certainly don't get it now...
I don't understand the hype with essential oils. Sure, they may smell nice and alleviate some symptoms... but they shouldn't replace the advice and care of a trusted physician. I'm very science minded and I refuse to use anything that's not FDA approved. It also pisses me off that these people are buying essential oil kits online and have the nerve to call themselves health mentors. I have a friend who has totally gone off the rails with this Young Living pyramid scheme. She puts the oils on her food, in her drinks, on her infant nephew... it seriously drives me crazy to hear her bashing doctors and modern medicine in favor of this quackery.
This is pregnancy #3 and hopefully baby #2. But I really dislike pregnancy lol. Hand me all the babies but gah I'm grumpy about pregnancy. That being said, I would really love to be a surrogate after baby #2.
I don't enjoy the newborn stage. Don't get me wrong, I love babies and they are of course adorable, but I didn't fully enjoy parenthood until my son was past 6 months.
Going off of the newborn stage opinions... maternity leave was the most boring 12 weeks of my life and I was so excited to go back to work when I had DD
@twinpeaksmama I enjoy using my oils, but I hate when people don't take care and safety seriously. Ingesting is so unsafe and using them on babies can be dangerous. I haven't used any since I found out I was pregnant because I'm worried about reactions. I won't until I've fully researched an oils safety during pregnancy.
I literally agree with all of these! Except, I didn’t hate the newborn stage. I may feel different doing it with a toddler though. But I am kind of looking forward too not working for 12 weeks.
My U/O is I’m not sad about not being able to drink while I am pregnant. i hardly ever drink and I’m almost glad for the excuse.
Wait, I’ve got another (can you post twice?) i didn’t really like JT’s half time show. He didn’t sing enough, he was pitchy in the beginning, the clothes were terrible and I want N’SYNC to come out so a i didn’t care for the prince thing. Also those mirrors were awful...
@sammierose464 I'm so glad to hear someone that uses oils responsibly. My friend just has a bad habit of becoming overly passionate about whatever fad is popular at the moment.
@krgriffin26 and @cdepperschmidt Same! I have never been a big drinker but I avoided all of it during the TWW and I was really looking forward to having a glass of wine this weekend! MH also just opened a beer which smells really good to me right now for some strange reason!
I can’t tell from this crowd how unpopular this’ll actually be— I kinda mentally roll my eyes at the women at my work who are all excited by the 50 Shades movies. Just not my thing. The excerpts from the books just made me shake my head. Wish I did have more of my old libido back though, lmao.

Haven’t read the books or seen the movies. I actually enjoy reading erotica occasionally, but when these came out I read the reviews and decided not to waste my time...
@LostinUtopia - The script seems terrible the in the 50 Shades movies. I've not bothered with them. @twinpeaksmama - I literally got into essential oils to try and help regulate my hormones since I wasn't ovulating at all. I have no idea if they helped because I started using them the same month I took Letrozole. They certainly aren't a cure-all, though!

@LostinUtopia - i read like two chapters of 50 shades of gray, and all the typos made me barf. There is blog that an actual erotica writer has that picked each book apart chapter by chapter and it had me in tears laughing.

Worst books ever. Read the story when it was fan fiction and I hate the author passionately. I will be so happy when this last movie is on DVD and I don’t have to hear about it anymore.

This but swap 6 months for 18 months. I want kids, not babies
I second the lularoe thing. I just tried one on for the first time ($3 at a thrift store so I was pretty excited) and actually made an audible disgusted noise to myself in the mirror. After four kids I take it pretty easy on my self-critiques, but I have never been so aware of just how many bumps and rolls I actually have! Literally the least flattering thing I have ever tried on, and once I tried on an open-mesh body suit thing (think fishnet stocking for the entire body, but with larger holes...it looked like one of those squishy ball toys where you squeeze it and bubbles pop through all the holes).
also, these opinions, whether I agree with them or not, are making me love all of you. the quirks in our personalities make me smile.

First book was kinda exciting to read but the character development was lacking. Got worse as the books went on. Book 3 was utterly useless
@pebbledam I guess my real issue with essential oils is the way this particular friend is using them. She also claims she has chronic candida, which isn't a real disease, and that drinking these oils is curing her yeast. She has talked about oils, referring to them as magic potions, like she's Hermione freaking Granger.
She has now started telling everyone about the evils of Tide, Clorox, Lysol, Candles, hair dye, OTC meds and prescription meds. Apparently I'm supposed to use oils to cure my gestational diabetes, since insulin is full of chemicals She basically thinks all commercial products are going to kill us and oils will save the world.
I have no issues with people who use them responsibly and don't use them in place of a doctor when needed. I'm actually worried that she's going to harm someone else with the crazy crap she recommends.
