Hi my name is Analiza and I'm 30. My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for 2 years, but nothing.  I've gone to one doctor, but when I told her I had been trying for over a year she looked at me with shock. So I didn't go back. I'm so scared of going to a specialist and them telling I just can't have a baby. It's hard because so many people I know that aren't married or weren't even trying have gotten pregnant. I feel so guilty.  I feel I'm being punished for something I did wrong. I just don't know anymore.

Hi @anniegoz Welcome.  I am sorry you have to be here but glad you found us.  This is a wonderful group of ladies and a great place for support.

First and foremost.....you did nothing wrong.  We all have felt this way at one time or another but it is important to remind yourself, it's not anything you did wrong.  DH and I have unexplained infertility and the longer we go and the more things we tried that failed, the more I came to realize that it really is just a crap shoot.....and I have horrible luck.

I would encourage you to see an RE.  It can be really helpful to find out if there is anything particular that could be causing issues, because then you would have an idea of where to go from here.

@anniegonz I second everything that @hoffmanr7 said.  I'm sorry you had that experience with your doctor, that's really unprofessional of her.  I also encourage you to see an RE (reproductive endocrinologist) to give yourself the opportunity to explore possible reasons why you haven't conceived yet and undergo treatment to improve your chances!  You aren't alone.
