New here - Feb IVF (loss mentioned)

Hi ladies!
I'm new here but not new to fertility treatments.  I'm about to start my second full IVF cycle.

DH and I started IVF last summer.  I am 40 and my husband is 42.  I have DOR even for my age but my body responded pretty well to the stims last IVF cycle. We did one egg retrieval that generated four 6-day embryos, with two that were PGS normal.  We had a failed transfer in September then took a month off for a testing cycle, then another transfer in December.

*TW*
Our December transfer was successful, however we had a very early MC after beta didn't rise as needed, then declined.

After the cycle, we did more testing and I was diagnosed with a minor septate uterus.  We did surgery earlier this month to correct and plan to begin stims for our next IVF cycle in late February.

We are hopeful for the next cycle but I am struggling with fear and would love to join this supportive community. I was a big Knottie and Nestie back in the day and always loved those groups.

Thanks for reading!

@kristimh80 ; I would but isn't that a group that people can see the members?   I'm keeping my fertility journey private from most family and definitely work.  I may have that wrong, though.  LMK - if it's secret, I'd love to join.
    I'm in Frisco! :)

  • @txjewel Awesome!! Everyone loves Dr.Ku! I'm with Dr.Havemann, but Mucowski did my retrieval. If you end up there on a Saturday and have Dr.Barnett, don't let him scare you...he's all business and has no filter :)
