Hey y'all, I'm posting this here and not on the IF board because I know a lot of the women there have not had any success yet, and I want to be sensitive to that. Long story short, ttc baby # 2 with ivf/icsi. ER on Tuesday yielded disappointing results, only 6 eggs retrieved, 4 were poor quality. ICSI performed on 2, only 1 divided correctly. This was to be a freeze all cycle as our FET is what worked for us in the first cycle. My update today was that the embaby is a 3 day, grade 2, 4 cell embryo. She was not concerned that it was only 4 cells right now and said all the cells looked equal and the overall embryo looked really good. It has to make it to blastocyst or we can't freeze it. Can anyone share success stories with something similar? TIA.
Re: Any success stories with a 3 day 4 cell embryo?
We had 4 embryos at day 3 that were similar to yours (ours weren't graded, but I was told the cells were equal and looked good). Of those 4, 3 made it to blastocyst stage for us. We transfer 1 fresh and froze 2. I'm 25w pregnant with our fresh transfered embryo.
I hope your little embaby keeps growing and makes it to the freezing stage for you
