My belly button hurts. Achy hips, insomnia, contractions, plus I had a stomach bug earlier in the week and still kinda nauseated plus a little lingering diarrhea from that. Super sexy.

You basically wrote my post minus the stomach bug and all its wonders. I also have had crazy nesting impulses. Scratch 1 thing off the list, 3 things get added
My baby dropped onto my cervix the other day (literally touching it) and now I can barely waddle long distances (long distances defined as from one end of the house to the other). I'm also plus one for can't sleep at night and nesting. I don't know if it's nesting because of instinct or a fire has been lit under my ass since he could "come in the next few weeks" since he's in "perfect position" according to my doctor.

I was having pretty regular contractions last night and my low back is not feeling so hot. I might have just over done things yesterday but I can’t stop myself.
I'm 36 w 1 d and feeling very crampy the last couple of days. Nothing regular, just mild period-like cramps that come and go all day and night. Home stretch!
I’m dealing with night sweats. It makes me dread PP where I’d wake up drenched! Which reminds me, I need to plan on that. I think I may buy some pillow cases to lay down that I can easily switch out in the middle of the night.
Ughhhhh, I forgot about that part. It was so bad for me after DD that I would have to shower and change into dry clothes in the middle of the night. Yuck. @missnc77
Lots of cramps, night sweats, pelvic pressure and leaky boobs! Also had a Dr. Apt today.. I am dilated 1.5 cm and baby girl has dropped tremendously! Any day now
Ok, the middle of the night sweats I’ve only had PP and now I’m getting overheated at night now. I’m dropping the thermostat before bed. Along with that crazy, crazy dreams every night.
Lots of cramping, scattered contractions, and constantly hungry even though I can only eat small servings.
Still working on cleaning/organizing all the things or “nesting” because with 3 kids and a husband who’s gone about 80-90 hours a week - we’ll be lucky if we don’t have to wear our underwear inside out come March.
I’m mostly dealing with contractions. Strong ones. But they never last longer than an hour. I hopefully have my last growth scan next week or so. But I still have weekly BPPs and NSTs. I’m constantly hungry, but never know WHAT I want to eat. We also had a stomach bug this week and I’m just starting to get over it. Also, good lord the heartburn. No matter what I do or take it starts at about 7:30 every night. Which doesn’t help my already suffering sleep
@KZ1126 I developed a new frenemy a couple of weeks ago. I've been using witch hazel wipes, I don't even try to go unless I for sure feel the urge, and even though I like to think I eat a balanced diet with salads and veggies, I either snack on high fiber cereal at night or drink benafiber. I think more than anything the extra fiber has helped the next morning to make sure things are easier when going to not make it angry. I talked to my OB about it this past week, and she told me Prep H was just fine to use as well, so I've used that off an on. She said they most likely won't go away until after birth, which I figured.
Hip pain at night is teribble! I have a snoogle and a ton of pillows, but nothing is helping. It feels better when I stretch, use the exercise ball, and Taylor sit, but it feels like it’s getting worse. Almost. There. (DD 3/08)
@KZ1126 Truly awful and embarrassing. I didn’t have them in my first pregnancy. DD1 was throwing a tantrum in Target last week, and the only thing that made her stop crying was to let her wave around the box of Prep H for everyone to see. Fastest Target trip ever.
@sarabeth5678 That's exactly how I feel, but I still have 7 weeks of growth! I just don't even know how I could get any bigger! And how I could get comfortable enough to sleep if I do!
@slr1229 solidarity. I haven't one in years and one popped up at around 30 weeks. If I have another soon, my OB said she was going to put me on Valtrex daily until birth.....because all I really want is more meds
yep, me too ladies. itchy belly. wake up to pee, can't go back to sleep. Pelvic girdle pain is back and worst while in bed. Constipation kinda kept in check with prunes, chia seeds, probiotics, lots of water and fiber. Hungry all the time. and feel like I'm bigger every day. And I want chocolate. Like, stuff my face with candy bars every day kinda craving.
Plus one for the roid bandwagon. I had them so bad with DD1 that they had to be removed via outpatient surgery (I’m hoping to avoid that this time). Also dealing with the nesting, Insomnia, night sweats, and feeling huge. Contracting has slowed to inconsistent at least. I’m gonna talk to dr next week about doing a growth scan because she seems to be regularly hitting my cervix. Her kicks can be pretty easily noticed from the outside now (33 weeks today). For the roids, I do witch hazel wipes also. Stool softeners daily, and if it gets really bad, I’ll do an epsom salt bath (all dr recommended).
So relieved I'm not the only one with achy hips and contractions. I can't remember having these with my first, and thought this was so bad I was going to be put on bed rest or something. (Not really a great option with a toddler.) So yeah, achy hips, contractions, insomnia, heartburn from everything, some lower back pain, and of course, the delightfully sexy crotch sweat at night.
So doing yoga today I discovered my pelvis tips almost 2”... which explains some of my excruciating hip pain. Now I’m spending some time doing some stretches to help it. It’s bad when your whole bump is leaning to one side.
