Lucie’s List recommended this nursing maternity/PP dress. I bought one in black and wearing today as a tester before washing and packing. It’s comfortable and kind of doubles as a night thing/acceptable to wear in public as long as you’re not feeling very vain that day (which you probably won’t be). I think I’m getting away with it without a bra, which is nice, but I haven’t asked anyone’s opinion on that yet. Here is the link, but I got mine on Amazon.
I'm going to wear my maternity old navy yoga pants which will be nice and roomy and won't bother my scar if I have a section (they didn't bother my appendectomy scars to I'm hopeful it will be the same with the section scar. However I'm very tempted by what @vflux33 just shared....Let me know how you like!

@vflux33 I just added that to my amazon wish list yesterday! It qualifies to use my registry completion discount, so that's a nice bonus too. I'm glad you like yours! Did you order your pre-pregnancy size, or did you size up?
I have maternity leggings from gap, a couple pairs of sweats and I bought the pj version of the dress that @vflux33 mentioned. Davy pj’s I think? Anyway, I can get away with not wearing a bra under the top for those ((I ordered mine from Amazon but Kindred bravely is having a sale right now on some sizes/colors so you might want to check their site)). I haven’t actually decided what to pack definitively in my hospital bag but I also needed options for at home since my ILs will be here when I turn 41 weeks. ((Roll eyes)) Hopefully I’ll have a newborn then, but I’m going to be dealing with a lot of skin to skin and breastfeeding.
@muggle621 I like it so far! Never BF before but seems like it would be pretty easy for nursing. Very stretchy, which should make sizing pretty easy. Might not work for people who live in snowy areas though.
I’ll have to probably change my plan if I have a CS but last time I just wore my maternity pants and a comfy tank out. In the hospital, I mostly stayed in the hospital gown (put on backwards intentionally for ease of breastfeeding and skin to skin). We’re due a month earlier but living in a warmer climate so that’s probably what I’ll pack again. We live close enough to the hospital and have enough local family that if I change my mind, they can switch my stuff out. All I know is hubby will be packing up on supplies (stretchy granny panties, huge pads, lanolin, etc) every chance we get- they charge us enough for the hospital stay. Hehe
Last time I packed stretchy loose yoga pants, roomy T-shirt’s and cozy socks. I’ll probably do something similar again, but possibly add a nursing shirt instead and a comfy sweatshirt. It’s all about comfort
I’ll wear a gown for the first day, then loose pajama pants and a nursing top the rest of my time there. I’m looking into a maxi dresse to wear home, but it’s impossible to tell what the weather will be like so I’ll probably pack maternity leggings and a loose top for the drive home
I have a nursing nightgown and thin cotton robe that I got at my shower before my first and wore it with my first two and already have it washed and packed. I hated the hospital gown and couldn't wait to get that shit off. I will wear yoga pants and a long sleeved tee home, the same one I wore the first two times. Why fix what is broken it was all comfy and fit my needs so I'm going to keep rolling with it.
Thanks for all the suggestions. I usually just wear the hospital gown, but my in-laws are in town this time and I know they will be up there. I might work in a hospital, but buttoning those damn gowns is not a skill I possess. My boobs were usually out most of the time, so something nursing friendly might be a good option. I bought a nice robe, which I needed for around the house too, and soft $10 nursing bras at H&M. I'd like a button down front, for ease, but can't find anything that accommodates my belly right now. My belly usually takes a sec to go down, so some of the options above might be nice.
You ladies and your leggings. I had to have a catheter post birth over night because I couldn’t pee, so I couldn’t wear pants until the morning I left the hospital. I wore a random pair of loose fitting styled yoga pants home, but I know you could easily see the large pad I had hanging down from my crotch. Haha! I love the idea of the dress @vflux33 posted for being in the hospital. I think I’m going to order one. I’m also packing PJ pants and a loose short sleeve nursing shirt I bought from Old Navy. Also a couple of nursing bras. I’ll probably bring that same pair of loose fitting yoga pants to go home in.
I think it was @StephBrim24 that gave me the idea to go to Goodwill and look for some comfy men's sweatpants for the granny panties. I found about 3 pairs and will buy some serviceable nursing shirts. I will probably also bring a robe just on case it's chilly in the hospital.
I have no idea what to expect or what I will want. I'm going to be one of those awful people who bring in like 3 rolling suitcases full of crap and then not actually use or want any of it.
I’m such a tomboy that I just packed what sounded comfortable to me... and while having my own “gown” for nursing in while in the hospital was important to me, I didn’t want to go home in a “dress.” Lol, @antoto you can always send YH home with anything you decide you don’t need before they discharge you. MH went home for a shower on our first full day there and took a load of stuff that we used for labor but didn’t need, like the yoga ball.
I ordered the Kindred PJs that @vflux33 mentioned (your review was just too good to pass up!), and FYI, on Amazon, there's an extra 20% off coupon for their products:

Like @muggle621, I was pondering their underwear/bras, but I've yet to find a single maternity/nursing bra that doesn't make me feel like a saggy blob (I guess I'm too used to structured, formed bras?), and would love feedback on Kindred's. (:
@mdfarmchick If you try them out early let us know!! They look pretty comfy. I need to go to motherhood and look at their selection too so I'm glad to hear of someone who likes them. Underwear have been a challenge for me this pregnancy bc my already ample ass got even more ample.

@muggle621 I think they come in Wednesday? I thought since those were underbelly, I could use them while I’m working on losing the weight. I love the MM ones because they are cotton and foldable. I ordered a couple more pairs of those too because I love them. TMI but the cotton material is nice for my swamp crotch.
@gh515 I have a couple of their sleep bras and I like them, but I should’ve ordered busty. I’ll probably order the busty version in the next couple of weeks. I also ordered a nursing bra to try... it’s pretty comfy and has more structure. After BFing with my first I can’t stand underwire in my bras anymore and I mostly wear sports bras or bralettes that offer a soft cup for coverage.
Honestly, I’ve been happy with everything I’ve ordered from Kindred Bravely. Everything is so soft and comfortable. ((Edit because I forgot a tag))
OMG you have swamp crotch too??? So this is normal? Like I didn't have it until after a cervical check last week but all my tests for stuff are normal so I'm like wtf....I take it this is just part of the fun of pregnancy?

For those of you asking, I bought two of the kindred racer back terry nursing bras. Thru are very comfy but more for around the house. Even if you don't consider yourself busty, still order the busty size because it offers more support. I ordered a Large and a Large Busty and find myself falling out of the large. (34C before pregnancy, 38C currently). It will probably fit better after the baby, though. Definitely my favorite bras for the house though.
@gh515 have you tried the motherhood maternity full busted seamless nursing bra? I've tried on a lot of their bras before, and they were all awful, zero support etc. I have a full 36ddd going on and NEED underwire, but I've gotten to the point where I just can't take the discomfort of them anymore. So I ordered that motherhood seamless bra and I actually really really like it. For just day to day stuff it feels totally fine. They go on sale a lot and always have coupons so I would give it a try if you haven't. https://www.motherhood.com/full-busted-seamless-nursing-bra/007-99162-006-001.html

Ahh, thanks for the rec, @KZ1126 ! I'll definitely order one... I think word of mouth is the best way for find a product that hopefully works, so I'm quite grateful, and was planning on making a MM order soon anyway. Thank you!
Re: What are you going to wearing in the hospital?
EDIT because I used an emoji and it cut me off.
I’ll probably actually wear sweats instead of leggings to hide the granny panties and giant pad I’ll most likely be wearing.

I actually bought two pairs of these at target this pregnancy, and I live in them. I can see these being great PP because the crotch isn’t tight. https://www.target.com/p/women-s-french-terry-jogger-pants-c9-champion-174/-/A-52301789#lnk=sametab
