Low amniotic fluid

i have been going to a perinatal specialist for the last few weeks for biophysical profiles and non stress test due to a partial placenta abruption. Today during my ultrasound they found that my amniotic fluid was low (6.4 cm compared to 13cm last week).

Wondering about others experience with this. I have been drinking tons of water today and I go back in a week for another ultrasound.
