*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. Her name is Lennon Jane, born 12/28, which was actually my EDD based on ovulation (I was temping).

*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? Well I arrived at the hospital at 9.5 and my water broke on the nurse during my first cervix check. I was seriously expecting to be sent home (I’d been having painful contractions for days that would be regular then suddenly taper off) so that was a surprise! Somehow they still got me an epidural and she was born about three hours after my water broke!

I’m still rooting for all of you! I love seeing the grad thread blow up (even for members I didn’t overlap with).

January 2017-December 2017 (my first OB appointment was on my one year Bump-versary)

How far along are you? 8 weeks, 2 days

Which birth month board/due date? August 2018, EDD 8/29 (but I may end up going into September)

Team Pink/Blue/Green? Team finding out, but hoping for pink!

How are you doing picking out a name? Not great. We had names picked and then threw them to the wind last week. DH wants it to be a Hebrew name, and I don't have many Hebrew names I love. So far, my top picks are Aaron for a boy and Eliana for a girl, but he doesn't love those. 

Questions, concerns, or other?

I've been doing pretty well, I'm just so anxious all the time- I worry about this pregnancy probably 20 hours a day, and it's making things rough. I'll be glad when I hit 14 weeks. 

I still lurk on here and I'm keeping my fingers crossed and rooting for every one of you ladies, and I miss your wit and wisdom. Sending everyone all the creepy internet hugs and love-tits.

**TW -Birth Story**

A day of great sadness for our family, where we had to say goodbye to DH’s beloved grandfather, was followed by a day of our happiness when Keegan arrived. The morning of the funeral I had a rush of fluid while getting dressed. We made it through the service and went to L&D immediately afterwards and they said my water had not broken and sent us home. The next morning I was awoken by contractions at around 9:30 and they increased to the point where we began timing around noon. Went back to L&D around 2pm and I was 6cm dilated and 90% effaced so we got to stay! It took about 3 hours for me to progress to the 10 cm but once my epidural was in it was a breeze. The doctor broke my water around 9:30 pm and baby went into a slight distress. The delivery team got me into a new position and placed an internal monitor to keep better track of baby’s heartbeat. He had not descended enough to start pushing at that point so I rested for about an hour before we checked again. After the hour he still hadnt descended much more but since they had broken my water we decided to try pushing. We tried two rounds of pushing and each time his heart rate dropped. At that point they decided it wasn’t worth the risk and moved to a C section. It was super scary and I was not mentally prepared but my delivery team was great and DH was even better! Keegan made his entrance at 11:47 pm, weighing in at 8 lbs 4 oz. His cord had been around his head a bit which caused the distress. Other than a slight cause of jaundice, we had no other complications and came home right on time. 

Still lurking around and rooting for all of you ladies. The sense of community and support here is unlike any other place and hope all the newbs appreciate it as much as I did. Support and be kind to each other and it will be returned tenfold.

*Which birth month board/due date? I'm technically due mid March and that's my BMB, but recently learned that my OB isn't going to let me go past February (risks of going to 40 weeks outweigh benefits for twins). Getting close!

Getting antsy during the final countdown. I can't believe that this LO is right around the corner. Time flies sometimes. I hope that I feel more ready when the time comes. The support that I've recieved from my Bump friends over the past year has been everything and I'm eternally grateful for it.

Maternity leave has gone well, but postpartum recovery has been a bit rough. Got mastitis and then an abscess at the beginning of January that caused BFing issues and I am still on antibiotics. I go back to the breast surgeon tomorrow to see if its gone. I also found out last week that I have partially retained placenta that is causing continued bleeding and poses an issue of hemorrhage or infection. So I am scheduled for a D&C this week. I am grateful our DD is growing, healthy and happy....but I am so ready for my body to get healthy again!

There have been some exciting BFPs lately and crossing my fingers for many more TTGPers!

Feel free to share it.  We have two solid options for a boy but really struggling with girls names.  I like classic names and H wants something 'unusual' - he has not provided any examples of 'unusual' names he likes.  We aren't really discussing it until we know the sex.

*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. Evelyn Lisbeth. Our last name starts with an F so her initials will be ELF, which I love. DH wants her nn to be Eve or Eva; I want to call her Eleven or Elfie lol. You can see DH/my personality differences from that alone. We've been telling everyone her name, IDGAF what anyone thinks, and it's just been really nice to feel like she's a real person. And she certainly makes her presence known; I've been feeling a lot of movement since 16 weeks (posterior placenta, yada yada), and her flips have been visible for a while, but as of this week, her kicks are also visible so that's fun. 

*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? I lurk so much, especially the IF/TTCAL groups. I don't often feel like it's appropriate for me to comment anymore, but I read all your stories, and I send good vibes!  

Also, just want to say I love these check-ins because it seems like so few TTGP grads really keep up with their BMBs, and it makes it so difficult to stalk your journeys and make sure all is well!

Our baby girls finally came!  After a four day induction, a million meds, and a lot of blood loss, both of our little ladies made their debut Dec 12th. Having twins is a whole other level of crazy that I never thought possible, but it’s insane how much we love them. My recovery has been pretty rough, and 11 days postpartum I had to be rushed to the ER for extreme hemmoraging, so that was fun. But since then, I’ve been homebound and taking it easy with my babies. Everyone is happy and healthy and super effing cute.  

I’m so happy for all of the recent longtime TTGP grads - congratulations to you all!  Still lurking when I have a minute, and keeping my fingers crossed for everyone on the board!

*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. It's still in discussion, but we do have one name at the top of our list so far. I was almost relieved to find out we were having a girl because I was struggling with boys names

*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? We did have a bit of a scare at our NT scan, but thanks to NIPT we now know that our Tater Tot is fine. One of my protein levels came back extremely low in our initial bloodwork, and since there can be some complications associated with levels that low we will require regular growth scans in the 3rd tri, but my Dr. has assured me that the complications are not all that common. 

There has been so much good news around here recently, and I cannot wait to see what else is to come

Anything else exciting to share? DH had a very big medical scare about 2 months ago - a severely herniated disc in his back that caused loss of function in his legs (cauda equina syndrome if you feel like googling). He had emergency surgery November 29th, spent 3 weeks in the hospital and inpatient rehab and has been relearning how to use his legs ever since. He still can't walk without a walker, and mostly uses a wheelchair to get around, but we're hopeful that he'll continue to gain function. Not how I imagined we'd spend my 2nd and 3rd trimester, but I'm confident that we'll be in a good place to welcome this LO by April!

Feel free to share it.  DH and I haven't discussed it since we fought about it a few months back, but the other day we passed a picture of Amelia Earhart and he nodded toward it and smiled.  Guess we are back to our original name?  I would be totally fine with that.

Anything else exciting to share? We moved DS into his big boy room at the start of this year and are going to start working on the nursery during President's Day weekend.  We have a spot for baby girl at a daycare and I feel like we are starting to get prepared.  My concern right now is DS (3.5).  He has been having a hard time at school behaviorally and I am worried it is related to the baby and is going to get worse before it gets better.  The good news is that his school is awesome and had a plan when they called me to tell me their concerns about how to make sure they are giving him lots of positive attention and letting him be a helper when they can.  They also want to work on challenging him more academically because they think some of the behavior is stemming from boredom.  I was impressed with their plan and very thankful for their help and ideas.

Can't believe how quickly it's going. I am so stinking excited for all the recent grads and all of the exciting things going on with my fellow IF ladies, I stalk you all the time! I don't think I'll ever get TB off my mind completely.. When I'm out and about and see license plates with 'HIO' 'DH' 'FW' 'TTC' or any other bumpy acronyms, all I can think about is what they mean on here TB lives forever and this board will always feel like home.

Things are becoming so real now! Finally hit third trimester and slowly getting the nursery together. Had my baby shower over MLK weekend which was so nice to see friends and family.

@stassischroeder Oh my gosh girl I'm so sorry to hear about your husband. Glad to hear he is improving. I'm sure this has been terrifying for the both of you.

*How long were you active on TTGP and when? September-November 2017

*How far along are you? 11+3

*Which birth month board/due date? August 13th, but will be scheduling a c-section earlier then I thought so we’ll most likely end up in July

*Team Pink/Blue/Green? Finding out! 

*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. Nothing set yet. There are only about five names DH and I agree on and surprisingly most of them are girl names. 

*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? OB had me see a high-risk doctor because of our prior pre-term birth and it was all quite overwhelming. We’ll be doing weekly progesterone injections, vaginal ultrasound every other week and monthly ultrasounds to check growth. Because of my open myomectomy, I have to get an MRI done around 26 weeks to check for placenta accreta and the doctor is recommending a repeat c-section at 37 weeks as opposed to the standard 39 weeks. It’s a lot, but I’m glad we have a plan and just hoping this little one stays cooking until 37 weeks!

*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. Hubby still doesn’t know the sex of the baby (reveal on Saturday). I know he likes Ryan and I finally found an R relative to name them after if that’s the case (yay for Jewish tradition).

*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? Not really that much going on. Everything has gone swimmingly lately between the baby, work (promotion!), and the latest show that I’m in rehearsals for (Ragtime!!). All very good stuff happening so no complaints.

Molly arrived on 12/26, and things went so much faster this time, but overall it was very smooth. We are now adjusting to being a family of four. It's been quite an experience so far! Still lurking here and will continue to do so. So happy for all the recent grads! ❤

*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? It's truly bizarre to be almost 35 weeks. *TW* On one hand, PGAL anxiety is back with a vengeance. (I think it's because we're at the point where we really have to prep for baby instead of kind of being half checked out.) So I want this baby out and in my arms as soon as it wouldn't be a preemie. On the other, I have so much to do both home wise and work wise to get ready that I hope this kid stays put until at least the due date. 

Still rooting for everyone. Y'all are working so hard to build your families. Keep up the good fight.
