A bit of a dear diary, but this is a confessional. Right?
I have a love/hate relationship with my job. I hate what I do everyday (or don’t do. It’s been extremely slow) but I love the flexibility and the group of salty old men I work with aren’t bad either. I just feel like I’m wasting my time, but I’m holding out for future opportunities with my company.

DH is gone for four days. Yeah, I’ll miss him, but a bigger part of me is relieved to not have to listen to impractical jokers, gold rush, or call of duty:wwii for all my waking hours.

My husband can’t sleep without the TV on and it drives me insane. FFFC I make him sleep on the couch if he wants to watch TV. That’s a habit he needs to break bc he’s not watching it in the bedroom. *TW I bedshare with our son and no one would get any sleep (we are already getting very little as it is) if the tv was on all night. *end TW* And he thinks I’m mean for not letting him do it *eye roll emoji*

My husband's brother ended up taking 2 of our dogs. I'd mentioned before that while they were taken care of (food, water, shelter) they were in no way spoiled or had an extra happy life (they were crated all night and most of the day). It is sooooooo nice to be down to one dog and one cat that we spoil cause TBH - they were our favorites anyway. If bro decides he can't handle the dogs and we somehow get them back (he is a bit on the young/unstable side - supposedly him and his roomies might get evicted) they will 100% go to a rescue. Not going back to that stress-filled life...

@jrm_14 - one episode, maybe two fine. But he has 70 episodes saved on our DVR right now. And he'll just shuffle through the list.

@flyingmombula my H and I routinely sleep in separate bedrooms. He's a pilot and needs his good sleep, and now I've gotten used to it and prefer to sleep alone.

@flyingmombula MH is the same way. We recently upgraded our tv box to one that allows him to watch with headphones. That and my sleep mask have made going to bed infinitely easier.

I fully intend to tell MH the RE said we should be having sex at least  EOD at this point. 

@pensivecrayon MH & I sleep separately. I carry on the facade that it is him who decides to sleep in the other room. If I admitted I like sleeping apart, we would trade off rooms. I like ‘our’ bed too much

@flyingmombula it’s with Dish Network. We just updated our equipment and it has that feature so he can use his Bluetooth headphones, and also has a remote with microphone so you can tell it what you want to watch instead of searching and typing.

MH is into animation, which isn't a problem. But he LOVES this one show called Kim Possible. He still watches it, and had the soundtrack playing in the car for three straight days. It drives me up a tree, and I just don't get why a man in his mid thirties loves that stupid show so much.

@kimberbeep I'm with you on the dog thing. We only have one dog but I can barely handle it some days. She's been getting anxiety as she gets older so we have to keep her crated while were at work and at night time. A while ago she was having tons of accidents and I was about ready to throw out into the street (not really, but I wanted to). We finally found a different food that's making her less sick, so that's good. But there are days when I just want to drop her off at a rescue and not have to deal with the stress. No judgement from me!
@meggyme What do you do? I can't remember. I'm sorry you don't like your job. Do you think you'll get better opportunities in the future?
@jrm_14 Will eod be difficult for you/him to keep up with or do you think he'll be excited?
@dreamscapes_ Kim Possible? Like the old Disney show with the naked mole rat? That's hysterical! No wonder you guys work at Disney...I guess you're super fans! (I don't mean that in a judgmental way, I'm a super fan myself!) 
Ooooh on that topic, my FFFC (or UO) is that I love watching the naked mole rats at the zoo. They are so ugly and gross but so funny to watch. MH thinks I'm insane. He hates looking at them.

@dreamscapes_ I watched that as a kid. Haha! That’s pretty funny, but I can see how it would be irritating.

@offtoneverland I’m an engineer for the Navy. Currently I’m a glorified A/C technician.

I came up with a better confession. I ordered pizza since DH is gone, grabbed the red pepper flakes out of the spice rack and shook out some to find someone had rearranged my spices and I just poured cinnamon on my pepperoni pizza. I ate it anyway. It’s a surprisingly neutral flavor and wasn’t bad, but I wouldn’t recommend it.

@offtoneverland There’s no way he will keep up with it. I told him daily between now & Tuesday+ IUI. He was not thrilled ::eyeroll::  Not that I’m too excited either, though. I said daily and am hoping for at least EOD

@offtoneverland Yes. That show exactly. I HATE it. But yeah, we're definitely Disney super fans, lol. I have no problem with real naked mole rats! I just don't like that show.

@meggyme Maybe part of it is because I never watched it as a kid, when it could have caught my attention? I'm glad the cinnamon pizza wasn't too terrible!

And another one: I made spaghetti and meatballs for dinner tonight. The meatballs are from scratch. I might have eaten two straight out of the pot before putting everything away >.>

@catlady2015 I think hubby vacations are great! Sometimes it’s nice to be ALONE! 

@kimberbeep I don’t blame you! Pet are a lot of work! Our lab turns 13 on Monday. I don’t want to replace her when she goes. 

I might get flamed for this, buttttt TW*** the bump has changed a lot since I was on it without DS in 2015 and I think it’s too structured now. I know, I know, if you don’t like it you can leave lol. It’s not that I don’t like it, I just enjoy reading random a** threads sometimes.

Adding after answer- I know tone is hard so read this in a casual two friends chatting over coffee or cocktails voice lol. 
I thought it was weird when I first joined and thought " wow these people are so strict,  will I ever fit in, I don't think this community is for me" Now.... I hate the one off AW threads.  I really like the organization. I joined a Facebook group a couple days ago and it's the wild west.  People post and ghost. You don't get much out of it.  Before i joined the bump i was doing a general ttc google search and time after time someone would post a question never come back and the responses were filled with comments that just said "me too has anyone answered?" And those people then ghosted. One thread was 21 pages of this nonsense.  I'm not joking. I should have book marked it.  I really like getting to know everyone here.  If you have a question we're all going to see it.  Or a funny random. I read all of those.  We all lurk.  What you write is going to be seen. It just makes it easier to be seen

@galactickates I get what your saying. I guess when I was on BMB I got so used to the regulars on board making posts on specific topics. I totally agree, posting and ghosting is not cool! I definitely see the need for structure on a board like this one where the crowd is changing constantly. I can see both sides of it.

EDIT: Yes!!! I hate when people post about something and never return with their resolution.

The thing I miss about the old bump was all the crazy drama and the GBCBs. So much popcorn.

@galactickates I agree. I was so scared the first few times I posted here! This is hands down the best place though because of the community. Some of the drive bys aren't so bad when they actually come back and respond and are kind about it. But most people ask a question and never come back to respond, and personally I don't like wasting my time answering questions for people who don't even seem to care!

I feel like this is appropriate...so over Christmas break I was off work, sick with the flu, these boards were sooo slow, and I was bored, so I may have lurked on another site (bbc) and wow!!! I am so glad this place isn’t like that. Don’t get me wrong, I love a lil drama/drive by post from time to time but I also (more so) love the community, and feeling like I “know” the people I’m talking with.  I guess my real FFFC is that I still read those boards from time to time lol

I just don’t like the “weekly questions” thread because there’s so many conversations going on at once. I can’t follow them.
