32+3 today with the twins. Feeling pretty much the same. I have an MFM appointment Tuesday for a BPP and an OB appointment Friday for an NST. I will try to update after each. As for classes, no i have not and dont plan to.
Hello! I’ll be 28 weeks pregnant this Wednesday so I decided to drop by and say hello! I’m currently pregnant with a boy, and my due date is 4/11/18 though I’ll likely be induced at 39 weeks due to gestational diabetes. I’ve been feeling pretty good up ‘till now. Can’t believe I only have 11 more weeks to go.
We’ve signed up for breast feeding, delivery and baby care classes through my hospital as this is our first baby. I haven’t booked a tour of the hospital yet (my hospital only allows booking up to 3 mo. before your due date) so I’ll get on that right away!

29 weeks today! Team green over here so gender is still unknown.
Feeling okay overall. My heartburn has been terrible at night, so I haven't been sleeping well. It's annoying, but I guess I should get used to sleepless nights.
At the lab now for my 3 hour glucose test, but no other appointments this week.
QOTW: We have taken a labor/delivery class and an after baby comes class. This weekend I'm taking a breastfeeding basics class.
@MMD1986 Oh my for some reason I thought you were having a girl. I have fixed the welcome part. @cashewchicken Welcome to the 3rd trimester this week. I have you all added above.
QOTW: I haven't taken any classes this time for myself but I took the twins to a big sister big brother class on Sat. They were the oldest in their class and didn't really learn to much, but it was good for them.
AFM- I managed to stay out of the hospital this weekend and feel a lot better. I hit 35w on Saturday and we had my baby sprinkle which went well and then DH had a diaper party which went really well. I did postpone our in-home maternity pictures. I just didn't want to bring her into a house that is getting over the flu. We are rescheduled for the 27th FX that I make it that long I'll be 37w.

@cashewchicken welcome to the 3rd trimester my OB/midwife hasn't mentioned inducing early due to GD, granted they already said they don't want me going past 38 weeks because I'm having twins so that might be why.
@MMD1986 good luck on the 3 hour! I hope it goes well for you
AFM I had my first baby shower yesterday, and I was kind of blown away by the generosity of everyone. My great aunt made both girls baby blankets and quilts with their names on them. I've been checking my blood sugar 4x a day since last Friday and it's been completely fine with very few changes which is kind of frustrating for me, mostly because I feel like I'm poking my fingers 4x a day for no reason.

@momma6angels11 32 weeks with twins! So exciting. Hope the babies stay in there long!
@MMD1986 hope your 3hr glucose results come back fine. Gestational diabetes suck and I hope you don’t have it! Nice that you’ve started taking classes. My first of 3 classes don’t start until the end of February. I’m pregnant with a singleton so hopefully the baby doesn’t come early but I’m a bit nervous.
@thucks thanks for adding me! I’m so glad you’re feeling better. And great idea to stay away from people with flu. This flu season is making me super nervous.
@amanning2011 thanks! Your ob probably never mentioned for the reason you’ve mentioned and that if your glucose levels are fine, that may have been the reason not to induce early too. I was told that I’ll be induced at 39 weeks but even a week earlier if blood sugar control is not optimal. So far I’m doing okay. Blankets and quilts! That’s so sweet! @thucks Glad you are feeling better, the flu on top of pregnancy sounds miserable.
@amanning2011 Thanks! My test went well yesterday and everything was in normal range. I'm relieved. That is good your blood sugar is normal without having to make major changes to your diet, even though pricking your finger I'm sure will get annoying.
@cashewchicken It sounds like you are taking all the same classes as me. I'll be a first time mom as well. The classes were a lot of information, but definitely useful. Especially the labor and delivery class.
Thank you everyone I am for sure feeling better this week. I still have a stupid cough but the doc said that will linger for a LONG time. Today marks the term I made it with the twins 35w4d I'm very nervous as to whats to come next. I'm glad I've made it this far and I hope to make it a few more weeks. @MMD1986 I'm glad your test came though in normal range. That's great news. @amanning2011 I'm glad you had a great baby shower that's well needed with twins. How did your photo session go?

@thucks It went well. When I'm done with work I can post some of my favorites
I had another appointment today and my midwife doesn't really want to disagree with the MFM even though he said everything looks fine and they just look petite. We are compromising and having ultrasounds done every week now to keep track of the twins' growth and health.

I’m 29w3d today and just had my monthly check up. We are due 3/31 with a little boy! Aside from being sleepy and having some pain on the left side of my upper back, I can’t really complain about this pregnancy. Also, my ribs have started hurting a bit more in the evenings, just a sore feeing, I think its going to be time to give up the underwire!
AFM: I had a routine check-up today and was so relieved that i’ve only gained 21 lbs so far! 2 and a half months to go and everything is measuring great! I passed my glucose test at my last appt, but was found to be slightly anemic, but nothing drastic. I’ve entered the 2 week appt zone, no more monthly appts for me! Now we have to start looking for a good pediatrician.
QOTW: Hubby and I have not signed up for any classes and may not do so. I asked my doctor about it and he said that lamaze classes dont REALLY provide that much information that you couldnt get on your own. So we may just do an online/CD version. I have been doing prenatal yoga for a few months now and i think that has helped keep me a bit more agile as the bump grows.

@dreamcometrue2017 Welcome to the 3rd trimester board. I'm slightly anemic to they added an iron supplement every other day to my meds. It's really hard to keep track of what day I take it lol.
@amanning2011 You already have some of the pics? that's fast. Twins are usually on the small side anyway. I'm glad the docs are keeping tabs though for your piece of mind at least.

Thanks everyone! Welcome to the 3rd trimester to the new ladies this week. AFM My MFM appointment went well yesterday and both babies passed their BPP ultrasound! Thats about all I learned from this appointment, but still have ob appointment on Friday.
Hi ladies! Seems like lots going on with everyone this week. @cashewchicken welcome to the third trimester! @amanning2011 I'm glad you enjoyed your shower! I have mine this weekend and I'm most looking forward to spending time with everyone. I'm already overwhelmed by the fact people are traveling out of town for me, it's really nice to have people show how much they care during a special time in our lives. @thucks I'm glad to hear you're feeling better. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed you make it for your maternity shoot. @dreamcometrue2017 we also have to find a pediatrician....are you going to interview someone or just go off of recommendations? @MMD1986 yay for your test going well @momma6angels11 that's great both babies passed their ultrasound! AFM-I'm winding down at work before starting maternity leave in 2 weeks (my school gives time off before your due date so I'm taking it!) but am very stressed making sure I have everything taken care of before I leave. I am also having friends stay with me for my shower, so I am trying to get the house clean and all the fun stuff one has to do when company is coming! QOTW: I've taken some birth classes and am signed up for a breastfeeding class. I feel sort of silly I never thought of taking a newborn class, but I think I might look into that as well.

My apt went well today. I still have a super bad cough and my PA is sending me in a RX for an inhaler and some of those cough pearls finally someone who will give me something for relief I'm so over this cough crap. @thucks I think I totally misread your post. My reading comprehension skill went out the window after pregnancy. You and/or your family had the flu! I’m sorry and I’m glad you’re feeling better.
@dreamcometrue2017 Congrats on passing the glucose test! I’ve also read that the classes aren’t for everyone and you can get most of the information through online and books. I’ve also read that once you are in labor, you kind of forget everything so you just let the health care coach you. That said I signed up for the classes as I’ve never been good about doing my homework.
@kaseycoco starting your leave in 2 weeks? Nice! I have 6.5 weeks to go and that’s if my hospital can produce a note to say that I’m disabled full 4 weeks ahead of my due date.

@amanning2011 Awww... that’s a nice picture. I had no intention of doing a maternity photo shoots (nothing formal anyway) but looking at yours I want one now. I don’t even have a nice bump picture! I better get on it now.
AFM I had my u/s on Friday and I’m happy that he’s measuring right on track. I have gestational diabetes and I was afraid that he would be measuring too big or growth restricted. I’m currently up 13 lbs from my pre-pregnancy weight and the doctors were concerned that my baby wasn’t getting enough nutrients.

Welcome to the 3rd trimester to the new ladies this week.
AFM
My MFM appointment went well yesterday and both babies passed their BPP ultrasound! Thats about all I learned from this appointment, but still have ob appointment on Friday.
@MMD1986 yay for your test going well
@momma6angels11 that's great both babies passed their ultrasound!

@amanning2011 Oh look at you in a t-shirt lol That's a great picture. We did something similar to that when we had our photo shoot for the twins.
My apt went well today. I still have a super bad cough and my PA is sending me in a RX for an inhaler and some of those cough pearls finally someone who will give me something for relief I'm so over this cough crap. Looks like baby is hanging out no signs of pre-eclampsia yet. I just need her to stay in my tummy for 2 more weeks then we can talk lol.

Both babies passed their NST today!
@momma6angels11 Congrats on passing the test!
@kaseycoco starting your leave in 2 weeks? Nice! I have 6.5 weeks to go and that’s if my hospital can produce a note to say that I’m disabled full 4 weeks ahead of my due date.
