What's everyone thoughts on Chinese food, are you eating it or no and why??

@Aera11 we'll always be nervous hoping all goes well, yay for feeling movement it's the best!!!!

@nmtay good luck hoping the twins are doing well!  Sounds like ur doing great remember you've got 2 babies so it doesn't seem like you've gained too much especially being 26 weeks.  I'm afraid I'll be worse at 26 with just one.  Looking forward to ur update!

@Hopeful_mom I’ve been eating Chinese food throughout my pregnancy as my husband is Chinese and we happen to live in an area with a ton of great Chinese restaurants. Are you worried about sodium? MSG? Figured if Chinese food is so bad for you, there wouldn’t be billions of Chinese on this planet

AFM I had my u/s yesterday and I got to see my boy! He’s got fat cheeks already! He’s growing just fine! The next u/s is at 32 weeks. Can’t wait!

@Hopeful_mom I haven't really done any huge diet restrictions. I won't eat raw sushi, but that's the only thing I have limited myself on. I haven't heard of any reasons to avoid Chinese food.

@Hopeful_mom I'm not avoiding any type of food in particular, maybe the exception is something really spicy. I think it will create heartburn for me. I have been weirdly avoiding deli sandwiches and salads, since I've read all about those listeria scares in raw vegetables, which sucks because now I have to cook all my vegetables.

I saw a gf make a post on all the things she's missing and other then the normal no raw fish, deli meats and tuna she added Chinese food. I was afraid there was something I'm missing.  The research I found was more the msg can be harmful if u had issues with it before.  I used to not even be able to look at it but I did enjoy some the other night and was excited! I'm excited to eat anything that stays down and doesn't make me sick!! I thought the all day nausea would never pass!! 

@helloworld9 I thought the issues with vegetables was just romaine lettuce, it's more then that!! Oy!!

my greatest joy now is feeling this lil one move! I find it so fascinating!!! I love love love it!!!

If you want chinese food but want to avoid the MSG, try the Trader Joes orange chicken and terryaki chicken... they are some of my favorite quick meals and they have normal ingredients (soy sauce, vinegar, orange juice ect... no artificial colors or flavors). They taste fresher because they are cooked at home, but they are super quick to prepare.

thanks @Holls214!  I am feeling a little less anxious now that I am feeling little kicks.  Have you started to register?  I don't even know when people normally do that!  I am thinking maybe we'll go look at some things in March sometime.

@Hopeful_mom I haven't had any Chinese food mainly because it just doesn't sound that good right now and it's usually so greasy.

@ReesaAnne16 we love the trader joe's frozen chinese chicken and the beef with broccoli one is really good too, just a little spice.  We do that one a lot with cauliflower rice, so good!

We did already register early since the family wanted to buy baby stuff for Christmas. 
I have eaten Chinese food a couple times yum yum. I have also eaten a couple sandwiches from trusted places too.  
Been fighting another cold all weekend. I don’t think I have ever slept so much.

Everything from Trader Joe’s is so yummy! Love that place.
